@@g9170 Unity bank, Suryoday bank, AU small finance, Fincare bank, all these banks are giving 8-9% interest rates for a FD tenure of 1-3 years for general citizens, add 0.25-0.5% extra for senior citizens. Just don't put more than 5 lakh in a particular FD as if any of these banks close, DICGC will return your 5 lakh. DICGC is Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation, you can read more about it on RBI's official site.
