Material of the Year with Jim Biddulph

A this years London Design Fair it was announced that Jesmonite would be their Material of the Year. So we headed over to see what all the fuss was about. with our very own Jim Biddulph catching up with 4 designers to discuss how they had been exploring the material. Including Ariane Prin, Katie Gillies, Ornamental Grace and Zuza Mengham.

I was intrigued with what the first designer mixed with the jesmonite, did she say key dust?

Funny thing; she says she gets it from locksmiths - so she literally means key dust. Probably from cutting keys - the filings that are left in the machine!
