I always find your completed pages so inspiring, I loved your mouse guard……. That is an untouched book for me , all your pages are simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing ❤

Thank you so much! I'm so happy, that my coloring is able to inspire others! The Mouse Guard untouched?! It was the longest time for me too. But once I started it, I couldn't stop coloring in it. It is such a nice and relaxed book for me to color. Especially I love to use mixed mediums like Inktense and Neo2. Give it a try! 😘💕

Hehe, yes, I did my first Eriy!! I have to admit I chose an easy page, but it was a lot of fun and I want to color more now from her. Oh, thank you so much for your lovely words! I'm always happy to see you around here! 😘💕

Yay! I love watching your completed pages videos. All your pages are gorgeous 😍 ❤ Yay! You did an Eriy page. It turned out amazing. I love it. I found Prismacolors with a blending pencil works quite well. I've not tried Neo2s so it was interesting to hear you tried such a variety of media. Inktense wasn't my favourite in Eriy's books 😊😅. Thanks for sharing your amazing creativity and talent ❤❤

Hehe, yes finally did my first completed Eriy page! I was a little bit proud on myself. Hehe. I'm also looking forward to your next completed pages vid! I always love to see everything you do, your started pages and the finished ones. Always very inspiring! And I love, that you like mine too! Thank you so much for taking the time and leaving me a lovely commetn! Someone said, that Japanese Eriy books have better paper with a bit more tooth. So I'm excited to get one in the future and try it for myself! 🥰💕

    So tolle Bilder! ❤

😊 Was malst du denn gerade aus? Viele Grüße 💕

Really lovely pages! Thanks for showing them. I had the same problem with the Eriy book: Chris Cheng e.g. made beautiful pages with Prismas and I couldn't get anything to work on them. Turns out I - and probably you too - have the English version, which has horrible paper. The original has great paper for pencils. I put the book away, maybe someday I'll buy the better version.
As to the Mythographics, I don't have one (yet) but I know Shel (Shel's Colouring Journey) gets beautiful results with Albrecht Dürers.
    Happy colouring!

Yes, I do have the English version of Romantic Country. Sigh. It's a pity. But I decided to get one of Eriys newerst book, so that I could try out the Japanese paper. It should have some more tooth and pencils would work much better. I also was amazed, of what Chris Cheng could do on Eriy pages with her Prismas. I was also thinking about trying out the Albrecht Dürer in the Mythographic books. Maybe the key is to give a wet layer with them first and then color over them. The water would change the paper structure a bit. So far, I enjoy Pablos and Luminance and Lightfast. Have a great day and thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment! Very much appreciated! 😊😘💕

Hi. I find Black Widows works pretty well in Mythographic books but my absolute favorite so far have to be the Arrtx. The Lightfast and luminance work pretty good too. Hope you find some you like. Your work is stunning!!

Thank you so much for your lovely words and your advice! I have all the mentioned pencils, so I will try those. And I might start with your favorite for these books! Actually I wanted to use my other pencils more anyway. Now it is a good opportunity! 💕

Hi there, I have now tried the Luminance and Lightfast and those work quite ok in this book. Still need to try Artxx and Black Widows, but I'm happy, that I have at least some more colors to work in this book! Thanks for the help! 💕

@@amberlesilencia3728 hi 😊 the Black Widows work pretty well. It helps to put down a base layer of your lightest color, they seem to blend easier. I got that tip from Elm colors. I’ve used inktense, alcohol marker bases and water based markers as a base as well. The paper is smooth so the base helps for texture. Prismas worked well but I usually use them on backgrounds. I still have yet to try my neo twos and my albrect durer in them but supposedly they work well. My main issue is trying to cover the older hidden objects. I still have not found a technique I like. Hope this helps a bit. Can’t wait to see what you do!!

Hi threre. Oh, for the backgrounds I love to use the Gel Crayons by Shuttle Art. It is a box with an elephant on it. I guess it is marketed on kids. But they are lovely! They blend so nicely together and make a background so much quicker and easier. And I love the look of it! 😘💕

    • @amberlesilencia3728

Hi there, thank you! I'm using the Water based Gel Crayons by Shuttle Art. It contains 48 colors. Was the biggest set, that I could find and I'm very happy with them. It has a little elephant and some other animals on the package. Do you also use Gel Crayons? Or would you like to try them? Then I can really recommend them. 😘
