MIMkids: Mini Music Makers Drum-along

Research has shown that making music for fun has a positive impact on the human body, and drumming with young children can help develop their socio-emotional, cognitive, and motor skills in a unique way. By employing some basic and early-childhood-friendly drumming patterns, families can drum anytime and anywhere.
In this video we explore three types of drumming:
Free-Based:
Explore the different sounds the drum / surface can make by changing the way in which you drum.
Steady Beat Keeping:
Use different subdivisions of beat keeping and alternate hands.
Groove-Based:
Vary the tempo and repeat at least 3 times.
