You can go to obj mode click on what you want to edit, go to edit mode and select that material that is on what you want to edit. Just click off the character and go to mats and use the select in the mats tab! ♥️ Hope this helps you and anyone else~
Great little video, SethSholf! Question! How would I make a puffing and shrinking tail toggle where my character's tail puffs up and shrinks down repeatedly as long as it's on? Is there an option to loop shapekeys in Unity before export to VRChat?
@@sethsholf To clarify, I mean an object that has a shape key that makes it enlarge at the base, then shrink at the base, but looping so it gets larger and smaller over and over.
@@SolarpunkJackal Thank you for clarifying. Hmm, I have heard there is a way which involves attaching the sculpted (bloated) version of the tail to an animation in blender or via displacement maps, but the process is pretty aadvanced over my understanding of blender. I do not specifically know how to do that I'm afraid. In terms of an avatar I would most likely make an animation within Unity, using the created shapekeys/blendshapes.
@-ER1KO- hello there! Your model should come with textures if it came with the files, I know there can be some issues with lighting depending on the mode it's set to in the top right. (I'll have to double check where on my pc) I do commissions for retexturing.
mad respect for furries, they tell you details on things everyone else won’t. every blender tutorial never even mentioned the important details

Hello there! Thank you. I'm not sure what you mean by puffing?
@@sethsholf Throbbing.

What did you use to make your Vtuber avatar?
Blender lol
The base I am using is the "kemono shiba" by Maitake Shiba . I edited the textures and converted it into a VRM for VTubing myself.
