Happy New Year to you both! We appreciate all you guys do 👍🏻
I’m not just a fan of MMA and boxing I’m a massive fan of combat in general I love to see great fights in every style of combat and have been let down by sporting politics so many times over the last 40 years, I love the breaking of these old ways by the likes of Dana and teddy it makes us fans happy which pays the wages for all involved which makes fighters and promoters happy too
Awesome interview!!
It's happy Christmas.
Teddy thanks for the shout-out about Whitey! I bumped into him as a kid going to the store for my mother and I'll never forget it!
Teddy must be the most welcomed addition to the MMA game I have ever seen.
💯💯
Wait a minute, what about RC?!
@@nickmildon6348 lol
Teddy is a global treasure.
Mma fans are not like boxing fans we welcome all people who come from different sports not just boxing don’t get me wrong I was a boxing fan b4 mma
I loved it when Teddy mentioned Marvin Hagler. All Marvin wanted during his career was to be respected and revered. I remember a clip where Teddy was consoling Marvin, before a personal appearance, and Marvin had tears in his eyes because he felt people didn't want him there. Marvin IMO was one of the greatest middleweights of all time!! And had the greatest chin of all time. Rest well Marvelous, we miss you.
Marvin is the 🐐 at 160lbs

I have no idea who this ken guy is, but after some sidekicks on certain podcasts this guy is a breath of fresh air. No ego, no trying to steal the air time just gets on with question then let’s the show carry on. Bravo 👏
echo charles has entered the podcast
I also didn’t know who he was when I first started watching the podcast, but Ken Rideout is an impressive athlete in his own right and isn’t just some wise guy behind a mic.
@@peterk2735 I saw, on another episode, how pissed he was at coming 2nd in a marathon. Because he thought he was in first.
Which I thought was pretty impressive and, as you say, is testament to his athletic abilities.
Bro wtf you mean this guy is talking out his ass the entire time he has zero clue what’s going on
@@jamestrost8412 we’re all entitled to our opinions!
The most important man in MMA interviewing Dana White. How cool is that!
This was honestly one of the best interviews I've ever seen Dana give, you guys are KILLING the game right now! Mutual respect is quite clearly evident and it carries through every thread of this conversation. Bravo gentlemen keep up the incredible work (as if you could or would ever provide anything less😉). 🙌
Credit to Dana too, he really does articulate himself well. He tells great stories. You can tell he's had some proper life experience.
Says a lot about the weak and hollow MMA press.
Lol
Huh? He barely got to speak…
@@trillynelson. typical internet comment.
Hell yeah! I was just trying to decide what to listen to at work, perfect timing to drop this gem for me! Haha, happy holidays gents!
Nothing beats Dana Fucking White
Same here bro
U SHOULD BE WORKING THO
Funny that both people who said “I’m not really working if I’m listening to this” couldn’t even be bothered to spell out the word “You”.
Amen my pirate partner
What I love about Dana is whenever he gets asked about the UFC's success he never forgets lorenzo and frank... Its always the 3 of them together... Thats d sign of a loyal n good human being...
He didn’t forget the Gracie family, Rich Franklin..Chuk Liddell ,Rosey, Ortiz also
Didn’t mention Forrest or Stephan…without them the UFC may never have been what it is today.
@@AlphaAchilles Forrest lives at the Apex center or in Dana's garage..... what more does he want?

Teddy and his killer level brutally honest views.
no wonder why those tv clowns dont like him because they are never as real as Teddy
edit: i would never imagine to see Dana and Teddy in the same interview in my wildest dreams. thx Ken
Teddy doesn’t give a fuck what people think.

An hour long interview with Dana? Teddy covering MMA is amazing
Best interview I have seen in a long time with Dana, you could see he really enjoyed being there answering questions from these two legends from the boxing side of the fence,
It just made my morning because I didn’t expect anything like this over the holiday period, thanks guys.
Teddy: "Not a bad dictator, not someone who chops heads off"
Dana: **chuckles, looks away, scratches head**
That was a great interview, and allowing Dana the free use of the F-bombs made it all the more authentic. The guy is an American success story giant. Awesome fuggn podcast
Can you remember a time when Teddy cussed giving corner advice? Honestly I can't now that I think about it
@@rd24life horribly bad take
@@quinnosborn3441 agreed, bad take Zhu 👎
@@rd24life you think being rich immediately makes you a success is really a bad take. Watching Dana build this sport for over 20 yrs, it takes more than financial backing. And what do you know about regulating sports? That you just pay some money and voila! New sport!

What a great interview. I love that Teddy is so involved in MMA. Will always tune into these guys.
Dana's business acument is incredible, his foresight is genius and his ability to make things happen is off the charts insane..... but Dana's most impressive quality is his loyalty to anyone and everyone who is and has been good to him. If u got his back hes got urs to till the very end. Everyone needs a friend like Uncle Dana!! Thanks for an awesome show Teddy!
Exactly even to fighters that helped them out at the beginning he stayed loyal to them till the end.
Best and most honest interview I have seen in quite a while. Great work guys.
No matter how inaccurate
48:01 is when Dana addresses Jake paul, which is the only reason I clicked on this video. Cheers bois

This is impressive and congrats to the podcast getting Dana white on! Great interview
Effing uncle Dana is true loyal person . People will miss him , when he is gone , guy is a great person . Uncle Dana is legend , specially with last jake Paul line .
lol ok
Oh the guy who fucked his brother's wife? The guy whose own family has come out and slated him for being a scumbag? The guy who underpays fighters? The guy who cheats on his wife with ring girls and fighters? The guy who mandates high profile fighters renew their contracts with a fight to go, to strongarm them into accepting because if they don't he'll sideline them? Yeah. Great guy.
@Tony X LOL, you're so alpha with your contrarian admiration for shitty humans Tony 😂 don't turn the internet upside down alpha!
Watch the UFC go under after Dana leaves, I hope not. But the Bossman pushes the envelope
@@BellybuttonGunk Love the art, not the artist. Yes UFC drastically underpays fighters, yes the contract "champ clauses" are evil. I started watching UFC in the early 2000s to kill time when there was no boxing on tv. I thought it was a weird-ass sport with all this violent dudes wriggling on each other. But then I went to see a live UFC event and the energy blew boxing out of the water. Slowly, over time, despite my life-long love of boxing, I found I was watching more UFC than boxing. I have to give credit to people who execute on their plans.
Two giants of combat sports. My father taught me to box, as his father taught him, I moved to MMA after his death, because no boxing clubs existed, but I love them both, and Teddy and Dana call this for what it is. Hopefully, boxing can survive and thrive along with MMA.
Boxing had a great 2021 and there is a reason why former UFC fighters are doing boxing matches now. Still a lot of money in the business and both sports are doing just fine.
Looks like Teddy took a shot to the right side of his head. That's quite a lump.
@@Onlybadtakes2589 there is money at he top thats it.

Awesome way to close out the year for this podcast with uncle Dana.
Awesome Interview and that was a cool story with Lorenzo and Teddy! Great Interview. Thank you guys
What an awesome treat to end the year! I’ve been wishing for this interview!!! GOAT recognizing GOAT
Im one of those hard core mma fans (lifelong boxing fan also but don’t appreciate the state of boxing) that have really enjoyed listening to you guys talk mma and interview the fighters. This was a terrific interview.
Great podcast, with great minds.
Great interview. I don’t think I have ever seen Dana do an interview over 20 minutes so he obviously has great respect for you both
You must be a new fan
Always love it when Teddy drops a new video
This has become the go to fight podcast/show. Genuine and great content always.
One of the best Dana White interviews I've seen, usually it's a journalist of some kind trying to push his buttons for reactions, instead of people who are really interested in learning more about Dana and the UFC. Thanks guys, great job!
never go into broadcasting you’d make a terrible interviewer
Great to see Dana on here and to have him answer tough questions from Teddy and Ken. Glad you boys are so accepted by the UFC as well. Love the show!
Do you think it’s true that everyone who has known trump for years loves him??
@@Mrnoddingdonkey I do not think so at all. But if Dana does that is his situation which is probably different from others. Seems they have had a beneficial relationship for a long time, so good for them.
I believe Dana, but either way it I find it cool that Trump believed in Dana and the sport of MMA from the the beginning and used his own hotel as the first venue, meanwhile back than Joe Biden was busy plagiarizing speeches from Irish politicians trying to become president
@@Mrnoddingdonkey trump helped out dana so dana will be loyal. But for all the little girls trump and Epstein partied with for 15yrs have a different story
Amazing convo between a ufc boss and the goat representative of boxing
Great interview from start to end. You can see the respect that they all have for each other. Keep up the good work 👍
Teddy and Ken spent so much time admiring Dana White and since Dana is such a good promotor himself, they should have asked Dana, 'Whose boxing's best promotor currently?' I have a feeling he might say Eddie Hearn.
Not a fan of Hearn, but who else am I gonna go for - Bob Arum, Frank Warren? Lol 😫😂
Goes to show how smart Teddy really is to learn and embrace the ground fighting when I see lots of boxing purest that can't or won't understand how learning to fight and defend yourself on the ground is one of the most important things in freestyle fighting or even street fighting!!
This is the greatest podcast of all time Teddy and Dana together, wow!!
Thank U Guys, I've been wanting this interview for ages..
Amazing work guys, rapidly taking over fight sports podcasting.
Uncle Teddy and Ken are fantastic. Happy holidays everyone
Phenomenal interview. Sometimes teddy rust rambles and rambles and rambles 🤣 but on the whole very open and honest interview, thanks guys
Teddy and Ken, with Dana.
It's a good day
Right
What a great back and forth. You can tell Dana has as much respect for Teddy as Teddy does for him. Great chat.
Teddy is a national treasure! I love he can tell the truth and say what he wants and isn’t swayed…boxing is dead it has been. I love boxing but everything Teddy says is brutally honest. The promoters have killed the sport of boxing, it’s too political, hand picking fights and normalizing huge gaps between fights and not giving the fans the fights they want but only want to protect their investment or there’s hardly any risk have stagnated the sport. Nobody cares about a perfect record anymore. Look at Mayweather‘s career he’s 50-0 but half the fights were bullshit work. Last pay-per-view fight I bought was the first triple G Canelo fight and GGG was literally robbed by a crooked judge who was linked to throwing fights before I’m over it the fights have been garbage tbh. I miss the golden era of your Roy Jones & Tyson fights. Boxing can’t survive on Canelo and Tyson fury alone and even that’s a mess
It was draw...sorry
@M Williams Even if you dislike Dana White's personal style, it's hard to not see that UFC is delivering what fans want week-in, week-out. I know that boxing has a very different structure. There are promoters who make an effort to make the best fights (e.g. Eddie Hearn) but the whole Bud Crawford excluded from PBS fighters thing is a disaster for fight fans. UFC shows that you dont have to have the focus on unbeaten fighters.
Teddy is an international treasure
I'm still hella mad about that moron female judge🤬
@@damondelgado4603 are you legally blind?
I'm surprised Teddy didn't mention fight Island. It was one of Dana's most brilliant and most important moves. He was the only one doing it during the pandemic. MMA was the only sport that was doing live shows for a time at the on set of covid.
The lack of crowd, and the silence that came with it made the fights even more amazing, hearing the breathing, the groans of pain, the shots landing all made it feel so raw and like you were ring side.
..thank you so much for this!🙏..one of the best interviews ever with Dana..I talked to Dana one time when the UFC first came to Sweden with a card..he seemed like a great guy to me and took time for photos and so on...and now to hear the story about Boston and what vent down..so cool...Thank you Terry and a happy New Year to you!🎉
And we are LUCKY to have Teddy and Ken in the MMA family, now.
Always room for a legend and a fellow Bostonian in Ken.
Dana is a beast I love the dudes honesty. It’s legendary
Great interview guys. Dana White always delivers and it was fun and interesting to listen to the back-and-forth between all of you. You all made my day today.
TEDDY WITH THE NEW STUDIO !!!! Looking amazing coach
Damn I'm glad I chose to watch this interview this morning!! Everybody here with me much love and be safe out there. 💯
Best ever interview with Dana. Conversational skills are lost on 95% of MMA media, they all sound like baboons with their 10 generic, blitz questions. What a refreshing listening this was. Thanks.
It’s because Teddy knows the fight game in and out, no MMA journo can match that
"I believe you have the trait of loyalty" 😂😂😂
Teddy giving honest facts and props to Dana and the UFC shows his true character, bc everyone knows Teddy is a lifelong, diehard boxing fan, analysts and competitor. He can appreciate and praise mma without putting boxing down at the same time and I wish more people would listen and learn from him. Takes a humble and smart man to speak the truth when even his peers talk bad about what he says. Thanks Teddy for always saying what u believe no matter how anyone else feels about it, nothing but respect to u and thanks for a lifetime of service to combat sports
I just subscribed to your channel just because of this honest interview…Teddy I commend you for your honesty! Truly I thank you!!!
I've never listened to y'all. I listen to all mma shows and love Dana. Y'all got a new fan. And of course I know who y'all are. My dad! God bless his soul! Use to box. We'd watch Tuesday night fights together every week!
Similar to Dana's story with the mobsters, when Lennox was fighting Klitschko in LA his team were told they had to pay a tax to Suge Knight for fighting there. Lennox saw Suge Knight after the press conference at Staples and walked over to him and told him he wasn't getting any money and asked if he had a problem with that, Suge Knight basically backed down and said it was a misunderstanding and he and his goons left.
Seriously? Lennox is a G
@JEFM Whitey Bulger said he had to pay him

Much love for the Romania reference!
Have been a Teddy Atlas fan for years, read his autobiography, total respect for the man. But he needs to let his guests speak more. His questions - which are really statements - ramble on too long.
you are correct he spoke about 70 % of the time
The interview that always needed to happen!
Saves this one for quarantine on New Year’s Eve, awesome podcast! Best wishes everybody!
Why does teddy even get guests to interview? He does all the damn talking! He's so aggravating
I think you guys need to get Eddie Hearn on. Dude is a beast and it seems he is changing the game,
you can see the passion in his eyes.
The one we been waiting for‼️ Epic show
Happy New Year Teddy. We appreciate you.
What Teddy says about switching from boxing to mma is correct in my case. I never thought anything would take over from boxing from me personally but handpicked opponents and the best dodging each other for years has hurt boxing for far too long. Mma on the other is so exciting and competitive

Hey teddy, you should have a shot clock on how long it takes you to ask a question. 🤣
