Ah, the circus world jamboree, the undeniably cheaper younger sibling to the circus playhouse. I will admit, the bots were well made, they made some decent new songs... But WHAT did they do to the hoedown?! They put it in swing rythem! Thats the one major flaw of that show, they mangled some of the original circus Playhouse's shows. Other than that is a well built show.
I adore the idea of all the characters having this thinly-veiled joy covering up years of resentment and snark towards each other. Absolutely brilliant
I visited castle park around a year ago and Lucy was still on display. Though it did appear as if she was about to topple over which could play into why she was removed from the display. The show also seems to have deteriorated a ton since I had been there, one of the most noticeable changes being Lucky's missing teeth. Kids have also definitely been messing with them as Lucky's eyebrows are all wonky and he is in a much different position than he was 8 months ago.
For sure! The employees that I spoke to said they often move/tamper with the animatronics in order to frighten each other after hours. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the reason Lucky's eyebrows were downturned like that.
This chaotic format and loose editing style makes me feel like I’m actually in the room with you. But you’re my captor and I am bound to a chair and gagged. I like it a lot. Glad it came across my feed.
Not a real chain, but in my dream universe, there was a chain called Party Time Pizza Zone that first opened in August of 1980 and had higher cleanliness standards than the competition and had a ton of different menu items in addition to pizza, including a cookie sandwich bar and an ice cream bar. Notably, all of the games, even the arcade games, gave out 10 tickets as the lowest price, which made it easier to save up for the bigger prizes. In addition to the arcade, there was also a theatre-like screen that showed classic cartoons and puppet skits. But the real stars were the animatronic characters: Fang: A jaguar with a black pompadour hairstyle, green eyes, a dark blue leather jacket with a white shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. Fang was the leader of the Party Time Band, and while cool and suave, could also be sarcastic and was often annoyed by Johnny and Bobby. Fang was also a big eater, had magic, and a magic red electric guitar. Sherry: a lavender poodle with dark purple poodle hair [ears, tail, arms], blue eyes, a dark pink shirt, a black ascot, a light pink poodle skirt, and tan sandals. Sherry was the second in command of the group, and was playful, spunky, and energetic, and could also be sarcastic, especially if Fang did or said something wrong. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Despite this, she and Fang are super close. Johnny: a brown hyena with brown eyes, and a blue and yellow letterman jacket. He is Fang's best friend, an inventor, and is always cracking puns and other jokes, much to Fang's annoyance. He plays a piano that has some other instruments built into it. Clover: a black cat with yellow eyes, a green dress, and a four-leaf clover on her ear. She is the drummer of the group, but is calm and caring and LOVES telling stories, but will also not hesitate to call out Fang whenever he says or does something dumb. She's very defensive of Bobby. Bobby: a golden retriever with brown eyes, a light blue surfer shirt, surfer shorts, and dark blue sandals. Bobby is AMAZING at singing and surfing but is incredibly clumsy at everything else, which annoys Fang to no end. Despite this, Fang still cares about him and will try to cheer him up when he's feeling down. Confetti: a puffin with yellow eyes, a pink party hat, and a tie dye shirt and tie dye pants. She ADORES parties and is the most energetic of the group, basically being similar to SpongeBob or Pinkie Pie. Gene: a cowboy coyote with a silver rhinestone outfit and yellow eyes. He loves the outdoors but DESPISES arguments and tries to stay out of them whenever possible. He cares about his friends a lot and doesn't like seeing them argue. He often misses his old home, but his friends can always be counted on to cheer him up. Denise: a panda with brown eyes and a painter's outfit, she loves playing music, but she ADORES painting and has illustrated several stuff for the band in-universe. The character designs were a mix of UPA style, Hanna Barbera 50s/60s style, Dakin Dream Pets style, vintage valentines with cartoon animals' style, cereal mascot style, Mickey And Friends [1950s] style, Looney Tunes style, and a bit of Jay Ward style. Making their designs somewhat retro and cuter then many of their competitors. In addition, Party Time Pizza Zone restaurants also had 50's diner-inspired designs, complete with checkered floors. Unlike many other animatronic chains, Party Time Pizza Zone managed to thrive even during the video game crash and would ultimately buy Chuck E Cheese out in December of 1983. Both chains co-exist to this day in my dream universe. I really wish that Party Time Pizza Zone was real. It only exists in my dreams, but if it was real, it would've been amazing.
It’s worth mentioning that Bobby Gosh also did the music for the FAO Schwarz and Melody Farms shows, the latter of which ALSO reused songs from both Circus World and Jamboree. So in other words: there is such thing as a Bobby Gosh cinematic universe.

I LOVE the voice acting for those guys! I've only known about this animatronic band for 30 minutes and if anything bad happens to them I will not be held accountable for my action.
I got so excited seeing this! When I was in middle school, we actually always took trips to the Hendersonville Circus World location! Of course it's no longer an animatronic centered thing, it's simply things like lazer tag and bowling, but still under the Circus World name. They still have some paintings on the walls of the band, and it makes me so happy to see them keep it. I didn't know other people cared about it's history as much as I have since I was a kid. Used to yap to my teachers about it on the ride there lol. Love the video btw, hope to see you make more content.

I seriously adore your presentation style and art- I adore animatronics and having thorough, well-researched videos on the history of shows and surviving clean audio and video absolutely RULES
This video is the single most thorough video I've ever seen about these guys! I love both Circus World Jamboree and Circus Playhouse, but it's been really difficult to find any info on Circus World. I really hope you make more videos about these more obscure animatronic bands! Circus World is definitely my favorite obscure animatronic band (all-time favorite will always go to CEC). I'm so happy to see footage of those animatronics, even if they aren't operated. It's the clearest I've ever been able to see them. Also, where did you source that video of the band operating? The video you said is from the company. I've never seen it before and I'd love to watch it in full.
i might've saw them at story land as a kid but i would've been like 2-5 so i really don't remember. i did fairly recently go back to story land as an adult and it was fun to see how many weird animatronics they still have there, in fact the "melody farms" band you mentioned IS still there, and they also sing some of the same songs that circus world/playhouse sang [with different lyrics]
I thought I was having a breakdown because I only knew of Circus Playhouse Band (I was cooking and just listening so I restarted today) I was just picturing Circus Playhouse but reskinned. I watched someone start refurbishing that band but Circus World Jamboree is completely new to me. I did hear about the Guntown Funtown thing because people I follow were trying to or got animatronics from there. Very good video!! I'm looking forward to listening to Circus World Jamboree's soundtrack later
I'm so glad the youtube algorithm was good for once and rec'd this video. Loved it and the presentation was very fun! I went to the Circus World in Illinois as a kid back in the 90s, but don't really have any memories of it. The only thing I could for sure remember was Lucky and Lucy. It's nice to see some of these animatronics are still around and in decent condition. I may have to hit up Castle Park next time I'm in the area. There's an article from the Chicago Tribune back in 1993 that mentioned Mighty Mack, but they called him a bear instead of a mouse.
Hello! I currently work at Castle Park and it is kind of a trip to hear the story behind these characters. For Lucy the Lion I do believe they have her, she usually sits in the chair they have in front of Lucky. I’m not sure why they took her away but I know for sure they have it. Thank you for sharing this history and helping me learn something new about my place of work!
I’ve just discovered this account, and I can already tell we are birds of a feather, lol. Loving your manic energy and animatronic enthusiasm! You should do a video like this on the Bullwinkle’s animatronic band
OMG YES?!?! CIRCUS WORLD JAMBOREE LETS GOOOO. I love these guys! 🥹 Amazing video! ❤ 10:48 WAIT YOU MADE THAT ART?! I SAW IT ON TUMBLR!! I LOVE IT 16:33 I LOVE THE ART AH 28:59 omg finally get to see him up close! I thought his fur had a pink color to it. I also didn't know he had fur! He's so cute! This video has made me oh so very happy.
I definitely like Circus Playhouse more, even if it's frustrating because its history is so entangled with CavitySam, who isn't worth supporting. But Circus World Jamboree is so cute and cool too and i'd die for a chance to see them in person!!
Huge Storyland fan here, loved that you mentioned how the Farm Follies show used to sing a song about not doing drugs. Really really weird messaging for a park aimed at literal toddlers LOL. Never heard anybody else besides my immediate family discuss this.
…did they, actually, though? I mean, I believe that the Good Time Jamboree at Mollie Stones still does, but there’s no proof that the Melody Farms variation also does so
@@aidanmallon9879 I mean I remember it but I don’t have a video of it or anything. I can’t really “prove” it beyond a shadow of a doubt, but I vividly remember it and so do my family members.
This editing pleases my Adhd brain!! Also there's more research in this than like... Most general history UA-camrs??? The animations are incredible!!! Please make more of these videos!!!!

Idc if you make a video or not, but I imagine you would very much enjoy the show Toby Terrier and his Video Pals. Its puppets, not robots, but its got *them vibes*, and it has shockingly good production values for a direct to video puppet show. Its cozy af. It joins Kipper and Bluey in my "Children's shows starring talking dogs" comfort shows list Also yes, you are a very sneaky guy *Edit:* oh god just watched the zoo episode for the first time since I had adult teeth and Don is trans coded af. And of course its horribly handled through that lens, but Funnily enough, it winds up with Don being ok with being a great dane, so long as he separates that identity with being a "big, clumsy guy" so accidental... something
YOO, I love the puppets in Toby Terrier! It's crazy you mention it because I've been researching the Krofft Brothers all this week (uhh, no reason lol) and that was one of their shows!
Did you know about the discarded 8th member of the gang? I think it was just left as an a sketch i dont remember if it was a fever dream or if saw it on a random page in the internet (Had a minor obsesion about just looking for old animatronics and stuff) i don't even remember what animal it was but i think they were supposed to be a Strongman of the circus? That or a leotard wearing animal i think it was a leopard but idk maybe it was some weird dream i haven't found it again
I'm here to support this video too! I love all the research you do to help retain the memory of these lost bands. Please never stop uploading and realize the animatronic community loves your content! ❤🎉
I was kind of confused at the beginning with the gun town thing, because I thought you were talking was another abandoned Wild West theme part that's on top of a mountain (ghost town in the sky), that Park actually had it's own animatronic band but I think they were specifically made for the park
Absolutely loved this documentary considering The Circus Playhouse band and the Circus World Jamboree have always been by far my favorite animatronic bands, also I just want to say, i didnt know i needed to see Circus world jamboree animatics (at 16:33) but i absolutely love that I did, i got a good laugh at them, love the art style too!!!
Yes! A new video! The Circus World Jamboree and Captain Andy's animatronics are really cute, I love their styles and I really wish they could've stuck around to give Chuck E Cheese some much needed competition. And the mention of the Mcdonald's playplace gave me a nostalgia blast, but I always prefered Burger King's playplace due to the tic-tac-toe game. And also, the BK Kids Club were all over the playplace instead on only really being on signs at the entrance like the Mcdonaldland crew. Speaking of Mcdonald's, will you do a video on Mcdonald's animatronics one day? The topic interests me, and it feels like Mcdonald's may have been intimidated by CEC and Showbiz's popularity to even add animatronics in the first place.
Mcdonaldland is definitely a deep love of mine! I'd consider doing a video on the their animatronics, but it would accidentally turn into a very, very long deep dive, lol
@@roskuil I love Mcdonaldland too [Hamburglar is my favorite, too bad he never had an animatronic version]! Honestly, I adore mascots in general, there's something charming about vintage advertising. The Mcdonaldland characters and the Burger King Kids Club are super nostalgic to me, even though they were only on Playplaces when I was little, though I did have a few Mcdonald's VHS tapes. I also like learning about Jack In The Box history, though sadly, the history of Jack as a mascot is very blurry and not much information pre-90s is known. Only three 1970s ads and three comics [favorite being How Pain Helps Us] are on UA-cam. Paul Winchell, OG Tigger voice, did the voice of the 70s era Jack and his friends. In spite of, or maybe BECAUSE of how mysterious the JITB commercial lore is, the 1970s JITB characters are some of my favorite mascots. There is a Jack In The Box Wiki that is super helpful.
Thank you for the video I've never heard of these and I love animatronics and family entertainment centers you're getting a subscribe can you do me a favor and try covering the animatronics at Celebration Station I would love to see someone talk about them.
I used to go to circus world all the time and chil in front of the lion at table 1. I had at least 2 birthday there. It still exist as a bowling place with the circus world stuff removed. The stage room still has food tables.
I have lived in eastern europe all my life and had not seen animatronics in my life, ever. However, a Certain Videogame Franchise is my special interest alongside plushies and puppets and I am just so excited to learn more about real life animatronics!!!! They are so cute and unique to me, it feels like being nostalgic to something I have never met or seen
nothing really to add to this conversation that hasn't been said yet, but i was so happy to see this in my recommended, i love seeing more people talk about circus world jamboree!!!
Circus World Jamboree Sounds like they mashed Chica's Party World With Circus Baby's Pizza, even though FNAF would not exist for at least one or two more decades, maybe even three.

This video is amazing! I love learning about new animatronic bands :) keep to the great work!
This is really epic yo
never subscribed to a channel so fast
Oh no way you’re a local! Im at that train station all the time!
Definitely making a request for Bullwinkle’s!
I would love that so much 😭 Bullwinkle's is seriously underrated
I’m glad there’s at least one safe show
Did you know about the discarded 8th member of the gang? I think it was just left as an a sketch i dont remember if it was a fever dream or if saw it on a random page in the internet (Had a minor obsesion about just looking for old animatronics and stuff) i don't even remember what animal it was but i think they were supposed to be a Strongman of the circus? That or a leotard wearing animal i think it was a leopard but idk maybe it was some weird dream i haven't found it again
Oh my goodness someone made a new video on Circus World Jamboree!! This is awesome! 👍😎
I'm here to support this video too! I love all the research you do to help retain the memory of these lost bands. Please never stop uploading and realize the animatronic community loves your content! ❤🎉
This is awesome, you are the best lol :o)
I was kind of confused at the beginning with the gun town thing, because I thought you were talking was another abandoned Wild West theme part that's on top of a mountain (ghost town in the sky), that Park actually had it's own animatronic band but I think they were specifically made for the park
YES NEW VIDEO
Absolutely loved this documentary considering The Circus Playhouse band and the Circus World Jamboree have always been by far my favorite animatronic bands,
also I just want to say, i didnt know i needed to see Circus world jamboree animatics (at 16:33) but i absolutely love that I did, i got a good laugh at them, love the art style too!!!
I’m not a huge animatronic fan or anything but your videos are super great and funny. I really like your stuff, keep it up!!!
Hello! Great video! I bought these bots years ago from Guntown! I am currently restoring them!
Plankton and karen from SpongeBob don’t have a child
OOh! That's a good one. Gold star for u
👍🗿👍
The couple with no kids is Natasha and Boris from Rocky and Bullwinkle
I used to go to circus world all the time and chil in front of the lion at table 1. I had at least 2 birthday there. It still exist as a bowling place with the circus world stuff removed. The stage room still has food tables.
If they rebooted, Maybe Lucky and Lucy would have kids.
I love your use of the Perfect Hair Forever "EFF!" censor sound.
I hope you have a nice vacation! I haven't been to Castle Park since I was a kid, so I might have to go to see them in person
I really like the style of these videos you should make one on the original circus playhouse band or major magics
I love how the stage looks like a carousel
There was a circus world pizza in Night Vale?! :0
Neat!!
I went to Circus playhouse in Miami area my whole childhood
Hey I recognize the Purple Dragon Duke of Dutch wonderland! 30:10

I went here as a kid and still have photos! Such a fun place 😊
Actually the video is 31 minutes and 10 seconds
Do major magics all star pizza revenue

nothing really to add to this conversation that hasn't been said yet, but i was so happy to see this in my recommended, i love seeing more people talk about circus world jamboree!!!
you should do a video about bullwinkles one day? or some of sally corps bots, like daniel and the dixie diggers
Circus World Jamboree Sounds like they mashed Chica's Party World With Circus Baby's Pizza, even though FNAF would not exist for at least one or two more decades, maybe even three.
FALLFEST
