There's so much I didn't touch on in this video. I would have loved to analyze every song number, or discuss how the attitudes of the blue apes rubbed me the wrong way. Alas, I didn't want to ruin the pacing with too many tangents. In the end, I like how the video came out.

Rock-afire Explosion Animation

Teaching myself how to draw animals: the result. A fun lil' animation done in 14 days. The audio is from the Rock-afire Explosion's "From Bach to Rock" 1992 show tape. You can watch to the full 10 minutes here: ua-cam.com/video/oiBLmIc14g0/v-deo.html The sound quality is hot garbage, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for watching :^) EDIT (2024): This animation being three years old...

What a glorious deep dive this has been. Can't wait for more vids!
FUCKING googletology STEELING ART FROM Peoples CLOUDS
i dont have magazines to crack jokes
Every once in a while the algorithm strikes gold.
2:46 okay now I’ll start yelling in fear.
I loved watching this show on yt when i was 3,movie studios have to ruin everything tho by making it a movie
That's...quite the title for a children's movie. It sounds more like something that should be shelved with mondo/exploitation movies
this is so hype your vids are my favorite animatronic content I've ever seen
I used to go to Capt. Andy’s Rivertowne and Enchanted Forest as a kid! I loved both of them. Thanks for your awesome video. I see someone else already commented with the Japanese version 😊
BINGO NOOO! Also, I watched this video thinking ‘That weird orange guy looks familiar’ then you explained them and I was like ‘Oh yah! That one horror movie I saw on Hulu once or twice.. wait, it’s a kids cartoon show? Huh…’ then you did a little foreshadowing when the kid in the comic said “The Banana Splits could never be bad guys!” ‘Oh, HELL YAH! There IS a horror movie! FUCK YES! FUCK YES!.’
Me is exsides for next animatronic retrospective
I grew up going to Santa’s village and I can never recall seeing this animatronic show 😪 but seriously I loved and still love this park
I like your videos. You are like my friend, but not really. The Internet isn't real.
Sometimes I feel like I'm in a fever dream, that's how your thumbnail made me feel. Well done with that, it certainly piqued my curiosity!
HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS MENTIONED 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That Captain Croc is such a diva
And it's only showbiz pizza around today 😔
I saw a Banana Splits in the early 197Os at Kings Island in Ohio which had Hanna Barbera characters licensed. I could not stand them as a little kid and ran like hell from them in the park. Horrifying.
You kinda look like Gina from Brooklyn nine-nine and Pam from the office love child Hope this helps😊
I feel like what could’ve saved the horror banana splits movie was NOT making them animatronics. Why do they have to even be animatronics besides “oh animatronics are hip with the kids”
You forgot to mention how in the horror movie, bingo looks like he’s balding
I think about this movie a lot
48:57 that quote reminds me of don't hug me I'm scared
Great video
Mickey and Minnie have been married since they were created
My introduction to The Banana Splits was reruns on Cartoon Network in 1999! It used to air around 6 or 7 AM, also Jeff Winkless who is Fleegle in the suit is a voice actor, mostly for Saban Entertainment and other studios, he was in Nausicaa Valley of the Wind well Warriors of The Wind, an awful edit of the movie
great job
One of my besties loves these characters, and have OCs for these silly lil guys :3333 So vry vry peak
The reason the Blue Apes are rare is because they are the titular cannibals. As an aside, I love finding a lesser-known reviewer that is just starting out. You have a lot of potential. You have a lot of personality and I appreciate seeing an expressive human being review a movie instead of a drawn cartoon character with 4-5 poses.
Fnaf Secret Of The Mimic?
Subscribed first sight because of Mac & Me poster
I didn't know I needed this!
Your videos are hella fun!
YAAARRGGG, I LOVE PIRATES!!! Seriously though your videos keep getting better! :o)
So as you community we claim the name "Swampies Cult"!
It's wild that the biggest mystery of the film isn't the rare blue apes but the director
Though I have nothing to add about Capt. Andy’s, I can tell you that me and my family have a tradition where we watch Meet Me In St. Louis every Christmas solely because of the 15 minutes of Christmas in it. I will also agree that it’s not a Christmas movie, but it never fails to amuse me.
Fun fact, One of the costume actors for drooper in 1968 was a trans woman! Her name was anne withrow :) theres an image of her holding droopers mascot head
This has everything odd puppetry and costumes, terribly awkward songs, a goofy contrived plot, a poor sense of tone and poor pacing, plus its lost media like wtf I love it Update: it’s been 3 days and I can’t stop thinking about this movie
Captain croc is a parody of Captain Hook from Disney Peter Pan because he has one hand
Had no idea this thing was lost. Kept seeing it when I looked at Tubi and saying "What's all dat den?"
That flashback explaining the rare blue ape backstory makes it seem like this movie is a sequel to a potentially better movie about the shenanigans of a family of rich primates.
Great work, love your style!
You look cute.
I like circus playhouse better ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’ve had luck contacting people related to small projects before. Once the daughter of a filmmaker shared some memories and sent a few dvds of a show I couldn’t find
My husband and I had to decide whether to watch Hundreds Of Beavers or a randomly selected film from the Vinegar Syndrome Lost Picture Show box set. We chose to start with this film before Hundreds Of Beavers. We figured we'd never be able to explain to people what kind of madness we saw. Imagine my surprise when this video showed up in my feed! Finally, we're not alone in knowing what this fever dream looks like!
Huh, a lost tropical island populated by anthro apes, and there being an inventor grandpa, our MC having an animal buddy, that get into a rivalry with a society of pirate anthro crocodile people. This oddly seems familiar.
Man this live action dkc movies weird.
I will never emotionally recover from Mr Quack Quack dying in front of my very ey-OH THANK GOD HE'S OKAY. Maaaan, the 70s tried soooo hard to make something wholesome, but every single time it was a horrifying nightmare. That whole decade just has this like impermeable layer of grime all over it. Anyway, wow! What an amazing channel! I'm so glad I got recommended this, your energy and presentation style is so much fun to watch! Seeing a new upload is super gonna be the highlight of my day from here on.
