How do you turn the alarm off when it’s been tripped? Do you have to wear ear plugs and go unlock it to turn off alarm or is there some sort of remote?
LPL LPL LPL oh my god LPL, I wish people would stop mentioning this guy, motorcycle thieves don’t pick locks it takes skill and a lot of practice, I don’t think thieves have the time for that. Bike thieves use crowbars, hammers, bolt cutters they destroy locks not sit there like little kids with their legs crossed next to a bike lock trying to pick it.
Decibels... the long version of the acronym is Db spl.... sound pressure level... sound IS air pressure fluctuation. And yeah, sure, the inverse square law always applies... if you keep walking farther away, it's going to get farther from 120 Db (spl). That's basic audio physics.
Bro I’m an acoustics engineer. The total sound energy emitted from source is measured in watts. SPL is measured at a distance from source. The alarm is most likely 120 dB SWL ref 10-12 W.
Did you not say the price? Is there anything stopping a thief from just jamming a screwdriver into the lock and breaking it like they did with the ignition on my last bike?

They should do a colab with the LockPickingLawyer!
LPL approved?
That was my first thought lol
Nah, he probably unlocked it with a McDonald's straw in 14 seconds.
@@Downsh1ft I love to see LPL start picking locks while they are being used. I am sure it be a lot harder than picking them on a work bench.

So what do you suggest?
@@jelenahorvath5178 litelok x1, x3 and hiplocks d1000 are currently the best motorcycle locks out at the moment.
Can be use for bycycles disc?
Is this due cast zinc? What's to prevent hitting it with a hammer and crack it in half?
The 120dB would be a claimed sound power level, not a pressure level at some random distance in a room. I still doubt that it's 120dB though.
