- Hello CraftDee Family! Check out my Original Design of a Race Track lantern! I am so excited that my creation using these racetracks has gone Viral, an so many are recreating it!! I will also be creating a pair of candle holder bowls, trellis planters and Home sign. These all are easy to make and have a high end look! All of the projects I create have complete supply list in the description box so you can easily use it for reference as you gather your supplies!
There's many replications of this design online, but note that Dee Hart AKA She So CraftDee is the Original Inventor/Designer/Creator of this style lantern with race tracks.

I was so happy to see someone use the dollar tree doll house, in a craft. I bought two of them, as soon as I saw them, for Christmas this year. I was just going to paint them white to put with my other little houses for our neutral theme mantle. Seeing it with those farmhouse colors gives me other ideas though.

I very much appreciate the fact you dig right into the project - no fluff - love it! I also appreciate that you "finish" all of your projects. I hate watching other videos and seeing the creator put a lot of work into the item, then leave the back unfinished or don't cover up the holes or some other minor unfinished issue. I like to think my items will be used again and again and are not disposable. so cheers to you for doing it "right"!!!

And I love that you speak only about the crafts, I've watched some other videos recently where it took them 10 minutes to even start. And by the way I love your crafts they are so different from what other people are doing. And thank you for the idea of using the antiquing wax, it really really looks nice. I can't wait to make that lantern though, that was adorable!
love your videos and wanted to provide you with a tip or new trick I recently discovered. I too love E6000 glue for a more permanent hold....BUT... I discovered that if you use a piece of plastic from a used individual water bottle, or the molded plastic found on much of dollar tree products with hot glue on both sides it also provides a firm hold and it dries quickly! What I do is cut a piece of plastic the size I need, then put the hot glue down on the item, place the plastic on top of it, then add more hot glue on top of the plastic and adhere to the item you want. I have found this to be as good as E6000--without the wait. I have also found this trick works on items the hot glue will not normally stick too. No credit needed..if you use this idea on your video, please give a shout out to our tiny town of Fort White, FL.

Why do you use the primer paint is there an advantage over just using the regular spray paint

So far, I've only seen the arched lantern and I am BLOWN AWAY by how awesome this is. I just saved this so I can have it for later. I am in the process of redoing my living room, and wondered if I could display this somewhere ~~ I figured out I could! (I don't have a lot of space for placing items on, but I found one).
