I sold my running and driving 1940 Packard 110 ( 6 cyc ). Gave my 1937 chevy street rod to my oldest grandson. My shop looked empty so I brought a 1976 monte carlo in Florida and had it shipped to me. Great looking and driving car.
Had a 37 deluxe street rod. Health prevented me from keeping up like I should, sold it to a guy who was going to do great things to it. He had a heart attack and has been over 3 yrs now and it's still not on the street...I just wanted it to be cared for and be a drivable show car. Way to keep the 37 in the family!!!
My grandson always wanted it since he was small now he's 38 and lives in Fairbanks Ak I told him if he would ship it he could have it. Shipper pick it up. Next time I saw it grandson was driving it. Said it will stay in family
Too many great cars in this installment, the Terraplane, the Packard, the Dragon, the Sebring, the T-Bird. It would be easier to tell you the cars I didn’t care about. This was one of your best selections ever. Keep on keeping on, Solon. Railrunner
My favorite car today is the 1963 T-Bird, but the 1963 Galaxie reminds me of a high school (1970s) friend with this car in turquoise repaint with a spray-on "vinyl" roof and a fair amount of rust. The car looked like Hell, sounded like Hell, because of the radical camshaft in its 427 homologation motor, which made it sound like the exhaust was on its last legs, and, because of that motor, was a Hell of a ride, and the best sleeper I've ever been in!
Love that Hudson coupe, one of the guys in my car club has a 38 Hudson coupe that's sitting on a 79 Buick Estate Wagon frame. I Absolutely LOVE the 74 Sebring.
The connection was Paul Newman and the Chrysler Royal is pretty neat, and that model was used in WWII as staff cars. But with the 63 Thunderbird rising in value over recent years. Mecum sold a couple Birds in the past couple of auctions for decent money. I love the Chrysler but for the money I’d have to go with the T-Bird.
Rail job, n🎉ice chopped ford,I had a 2 door custom deluxe. When I went in the army my dad got tired of looking at my car out front(we lived in the last house on a dead end street) he sold it for$75 and sent me a money order, I was pretty mad for awhile
I can imagine! My neighbor had a 67 Cougar that I bugged him for years to sell to me and he said that he did not want to sell it. I came home one day and a wrecker was loading it up... He had sold it for $500... ugh!
I do check a little bit when somebody says make a great daily driver my car is almost 80 years old 🗝️. Going to local auto parts store and say you want parts for your Packard for example. Young man behind the counter says sorry sir we don't pack and ship you have to do that yourself 🤣🤣 so not for the faint of heart.
If you would like to see your car that is for sale in one of these videos then please follow the instructions below: 1.) Car must be pre 1980. 2.) Only one car per video per seller. You can send me multiple cars and I will feature them in other videos one at a time per video. 3.) I need a minimum of 6 pictures - one of each side, the front and the back, the interior and the motor. You can send me more than six and I will use as many as I can. 4.) I need your asking price and where the car is located ( city and state ) 5.) A good contact email, no phone numbers. 6.) Send this info to: americanrodshop@yahoo.com
That ‘51 Ford confirms that some people shouldn’t have tools. Who in the world would put an antenna in the middle of the rear side window? That car would need to be totally redone…..mho….RAILJOB!

I drove a blue 76 Monte Carlo after I got out of High school and it rode and drove great!

The "Ugly Birds" and mid 60's Galaxy's and Falcon are becoming a VERY popular project because they are cheap to buy still.

I would say the Kasier Dragon never ever heard of this type of Kaiser before. I liked it and the 63 T-bird. "Railjob"
Both great picks!
So many vehicles, I'll have to go with the Thunderbird even though it needs more work than they say.
That Thunderbird was a good pick!
Like that 63 Tbird. Looks like it's in great shape and is roadworthy with low mileage
It was nice John!
I really like that '64 Econoline 8 door, but probably the '74 Sebring to take home today.
Both good choices, great picks!

I agree Thomas, you use to see those Tbirds everywhere but not anymore!
Thanks Solon appreciate the awesome video. Stay safe and enjoy you weekend. 👍😎✌️
I appreciate it and same to you brother!
My dad owned a Kaiser Dragon. It was an amazing car!
I have never seen one!
The 63 T-bird would make a great restomod. I’d pull the engine and transmission and replace with a 390 and 4 spd and add vintage air.
That car has been a favorite of many in the comment section!
My favorite in this list is the 1974 Plymouth but the 51 Kaiser is a nice 2nd choice. Thanks for making these videos.

The Hudson Tera Plane was had to beat, but the T-bird came in as a close second. If I had the money and the time I'd get both of them.
Good picks Richard! I love them but don't have the money to spare or the place to keep them!
If I had a classic car budget again, I would buy the '63 T-Bird. Good price for a daily driver..
Good pick, everyone seems to like that one tonight!
