Agreed. Why did the Kinks kind of disappear in the USA before 1970? They were part of the British invasion of the US just like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Yardbirds, Animals, etc. Some of those bands (the last 2) broke up. But the Kinks were making music at least through all of the 1970s with songs like He's Evil, and Juke Box Music.. Why did we lose their influence before the rest of the world?
