Why is it so fun to see npcs fighting? Seriously there are times when it's more interesting to see the npcs fighting than actually playing the game lol.
Npc battles are very unique compare to the players.
That is the main reason why I buy games like this, I just like watching the npcs fight each other.
For me it’s the unpredictability and they move more unique than a player does.

Interesting how humans seem to be stronger in straight up fights. It’s just not the vibe you get when playing the campaign
humans NPC are overall stronger and better shots than your enemy counter part, i like the decision becuse it feels that your AI is usefull and your not fighting alone when with them
True, that is also canon lol. UNSC wins on the ground but loses in the space battle
Bullets in halo travel much faster than plasma rounds, which allows them to hit more frequently and more accurately

Human npc are also weirdly tough to with pretty decent health pools. Idk I prefer the marines in halo reach, 4, and 5.
Their lower health pools mean that if your not actively in the front drawing enemy attention, they will get slaughtered. It makes me atleast feel like the badges super soldier that the games say you're supposed to be

Man, this reminds me of the days I've spent setting up battles between NPCs in Arma 3. I spent so much time setting up those battles manually and with scripts.

This version of Halo imo was the most fluid and fun to watch for fights. The mechanics were not quite as robotic as the current game.
4:50 ‘twas a noble sacrifice by that ODST. Mans plowed through two brutes before crashing into another ghost and exploding killing himself and the other ghost.

probably cause having every enemy shoot at you from everywhere the moment you're seen wouldn't be that fun
Also their weapons have worse range on average too
ODSTs have more range than marines with Most Weapons. Infact they have the highest range of any npc in Halo 3.
honestly i would love to see some PvE gamemodes come out from this or what if finally there are mods to allows allow ai into forge by being able to add in ai spawners and behavior points like spawn nodes in normal halo 3

So why doesn't the warthog ever drive or move? Did they receive an entire shipment of faulty Warthogs that have operational guns but no working wheels? Did someone forget to give em gas?
Pathfinding AI in vehicles has seemed to be a challenge among modders as there's still new techniques and code being figured out with the mod tools.
It's actually shocking to see how far AI in Halo mods have come in just a few short weeks.
Hi, creator of the mod here! Will be releasing an update tomorrow that allows the warthog to move, as I've had some help figuring it out! It's more complex than infantry
@@pepperman9460 Yes! But I wish I could say it with more enthusiasm given how much good at driving the NPCs are at the wheel in the Halo games. Still will be fun long as they pass their driving lessons.

This is due to the AI for this it is capable of learning and preforming difrent strategy both teams are capable of this vast experience but one may have the upper hand if it knows more where the spawn is and when they will spawn this effectively makes them more advanced than traditional IA.
Make a entire campaign where it’s jus odsts marines and army troopers against the cov tryna save civilians and take back a city

thansk god i have experience using halo hek sapien from halo ce custom edition those years using sapien will help me a lot of creating mods like i used to in halo 1 pc
We needed something like this to save the Halo Franchise. Infinite isn't even 1/10 as good as Halo 3 and and these fools calling it a 10/10 masterpiece are SERIOUSLY trippin'.
you're tripping bc halo infinite is being released in waves just like bfn. 343 was nice and released it early with the main parts like campaign and multiplayer and multiplayer modes.
co-op campaign is being released soon as well so that'll make infinite better.

i enjoy the npc battles but is annoyed the marines in the hog didnt really move to drive like round the terain to flank or more protective are or let the side shooter fire
