Does anyone else stop the video to take pics to remember combinations of plants to steal ideas from? 😆
Wow, I did not think about that. I will definetely go back, as there were several arrangements I want to replicate. 👍🍀
Yes!❤
Yaaasss!!! Hahaha!! 🤣
Now I will
FYI: u can go on the proven winners website and look up " planter recipes", u can look up by color, sun/shade/ and plant name
They overwinter inside really well. I bought then two years ago. I dig them up, put them and bring them inside for the winter. This will be my third year with the same plants. A real money saver.
I wish I had done that!
Great idea! Have you divided them?
Can the diamond frost ever be used as a house plant (in bright light)? I live in an apartment and would love something like this next to a window
@@mickquinlan8394 Oooh, good question. I'd like that too, though I suspect my cats might try to munch on it. I'd better head to Proven Winners to look into this!
@@Sun-Soul I hear ya! My three cats are always volunteering to "prune" my plants. Argh!
I think its such an honor that you're a spokesperson for PW. Its doesn't surprise me that they picked you Laura. Grateful my local garden center carries PW. Thanks for sharing. 🌻💗🌻💗
Your videos are always up super early in the day, which makes it the first notification I get in the morning! 💕
Lydia Gallivan with me its always during working afternoon hours😂
I get them at 7AM and enjoy having my morning coffee with Laura. 💚🌿
I planted diamond frost with geraniums and it was beautiful. Light and airy. Brought attention to the geraniums.
I love how Laura revisits her past container arrangements in this video. I wish she did more of these plant-specific videos so I could see different options of arrangements instead of scrolling through hundreds of videos for inspiration.
Love the diamond snow, I'll be using that in my garden this year.
I love the Diamond variety! Laura, I love your passion for gardening! You are such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing with us
Love this collection of plants!! I will surely get some for this year. Also, need to mention that you are the greatest promoter of Proven Winners' plants. Your enthusiasm is very captivating. Your knowledge & ease in describing the use of these plants is very convincing and the presentation is on spot. You get better and better each year and Proven Winners has proven to be a great partner. I also commend Aaron for the magnificent job he does with the quality of the videos. They look very professional. I can't wait to see the garden projects you have been planning for this year. @ProvenWinners 🍀💚👍
Wow!!
Beautiful~💓
I'm learning English through this channel~😘
No dead-heading?! Count me in! Love videos where you concentrate on specific plants, Laura! Would never have guessed these plants were related to poinsettias... ya' learn something new every day, especially from Garden Answer!! =D
Oh yes, gonna plant diamond snow in an all white pot this year.. beautiful!!
The little black dress of the garden, I love that!
Those red boxes are stunning! May wanna rethink the color red! 👍💕
I would never have guessed that those were bracts!! Learn something new everyday.
those euphorbias are amazing...i pulled one up (not nicely, either! ha) to move it somewhere, left it in a pot unattended for a day or two (not recommended!) and then gave it to my daughter to plant, and you should see it now!!! it's so happy in the pot she has it in, suffered little to no shock at my very rude treatment of it, and is just beautiful!! i do want to try to use more in my landscape instead of just pots, but the "little black dress" is a perfect description! it goes everywhere and always looks great!!
My Diamond Frost was planted in fall 2020 (mostly sun, some shade), and overwintered like a champ in SoCal - I had to TRIM IT DOWN as it was flushing up and out, taking over my container by April (my other perennials needed to catch up!). A month later it has started to flush out again. WHAT A GREAT PLANT.
I had never heard of the Diamond Frosts until you introduced them. Planted one last year and wow!
My sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette & Dave, met and chatted with you this morning in Seattle. They and their adult kids farm oysters, in addition to their regular jobs. Said they offered you an oyster care package. I am so excited for my sister. Not every day you get to meet one of your heroes! You and Aaron are referred to by first name in our families...like Beyoncé!
@ 10.03 that is a beautiful garden Laura. 💕🌺💕
@8:52 this is GORGEOUS. I love it
Another thing I love about them, they are so easy to overwinter, so you have them from year to year.
I planted diamond frost last spring and they’re still just beautiful this year - zone 11🤗
I put Diamond Frost in my Rose Bed and it was gorgeous!
Just the right time I just finished doing some transplanting❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Laura has hooked me to do some garden work like every single day❤❤❤❤❤ love your videos they are super informative and relaxing and your voice is so soothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Therapeutic almost... love yaa!!!
I love the smaller one the Diamond Snow, since I have smaller areas and pots.I hope to find these and try them in my garden. Thank you so much Laura for this video, and the different varieties of this beautiful plant. I wouldn't mind trying to overwinter these it would be a money saver. I am loving your enclosed porch and all of the plants in there, that is a goal of mine. I hope you have a great week, bye for now.
I'm kinda new to finding your Garden Answers but I am loving it. Learning and enjoying Thanks and I hope you have a super day
I recently watched the Proven Winners 2020 certification video (I think that’s what it was - it is meant for garden centers offering PW plants). While it was wonderful to see all the plants, it was not at all as enjoyable to watch as your videos. I’d love to see you doing these videos - or at least more of what you did today. You show how you’ve used each plant and can speak in detail about performance. I did see your sunflowers in the PW video😊 You’re a great ambassador for PW - I had not sought their plants out in particular until I started watching your channel. I’ve been very pleased with them all - especially the Supertunia Vistas - I love petunias but not the dead heading nor the way they look by mid season. Now I’m only buying PW selections. Long comment I know, but PW needs you to do their videos!
I'm not a gardener but always watch your videos for inspiration when I do have my own. We're best friends in my head so I watched this one and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ps I'm starting to remember plants by name when I see them because I hear you say them so often 😁
I’m a teacher, but I just started a seasonal job at a local greenhouse. Laura, just wanted to thank you because the work you and Aaron do made me feel emboldened and knowledgeable enough to turn my hobby into a second source of income! Thank you dog much! 🙏🏻 (Also, we sell a ton of Espoma and Proven Winners products!👌🏻)
Thank you for teaching your You Tube family !! Everything looks so beautiful thanks for sharing. Love, your sister in Christ.
Beautiful plants and nice information
"little black dress of the garden" perfect description. Plan on trying some this spring.
I got some diamond frost at Lowe’s. Love it!
I live in the deep south and love your videos! You have saved me during this pandemic. I admire your knowledge and ability to communicate so well as I have learned so much and been entertained through these tough weeks. I know your family is so proud of you and your little family. Thank you!!!
Love, love these. You are so blessed Laura to have all this beauty around you. Good for the soul.
Stunning!
Love all 3, I will use them this year. Thanks!😁
Love them all!
Putting up new flower boxes on. My”she “shed this year. These would defiantly add a lot.
Love the diamond snow!! Will need to purchase that!! Love this video!! 💗
I can't wait for Spring! We have mountains of snow yet. 😉
I love all of these and can’t wait til my garden center gets them in. Tfs. Good information about all 3. 👏🏻👏🏻
I love all of these. Grew them for first time last year and loved them! 🥰👌
Oh wow, I think the Diamond Mountain would be perfect for some of my beds. Thanks for sharing.
Wow!! Gorgeous
Love them all. I’m going to get some
I love Diamond Frost I use it every year in my planters
I appreciate that you came right out and stated that this video is an out and out commercial for Proven Winners. I never begrudge anyone from making money! But I also appreciate the integrity you show. Y stating that you have a clear objective in this video -selling specific products for PW. I too happen to think two of these three plants are terrific in the garden or in containers.
Love the diamond series! I grew the mountain frost in addition to the other two last year in a large raised bed and it was a beast! It was so beautiful and got huge, filling in with that gorgeous, airy white. I will definitely be repeating that this year! Thanks so much for doing this video and sharing all the beautiful photos! 💚❤️
Coffee with Laura and some beautiful plants to look at. Thank you for sharing these as I think they are ones I can use in my containers at work!!
SOLD!🎉👍 Thank you ☺️
Ohh I just love these, heading to home depot for lumber and hoping to pick up some of the frost to try in containers..
All I have to say is yes please! 🤍🪴🤍
Good morning!
Beautiful! I have used these and loved them didn't think to bring them inside but will this fall!
I have planted all of these in my containers! I have planted them alone & with other plants, loved the way the performed! They all put on a excellent show all season & I am planning on planting them again this year!! 😀🌞👍🌿
Good Morning to all, Time to learn :)
Thank you for such a detailed description of this plant. It helps me decide where to plant them. I love the clean look of white with other pops of color. Definitely adding this to my list!
Beautiful!!
I’d planned to plant from this collection for the first time this Spring. I’m super excited. They’re beautiful!
Thank you, again---- so much, Laura
I purchased a handful of Diamond Frost from Proven Winners online and can’t wait to get my hands in dirt! It’s still in the 20’s here in Upstate New York, and they won’t arrive for several months (Zone 5). I only found one quart plant at all of my local garden centers last year and didn’t want to take the chance this year! Also, I am impatiently waiting for my copy of Proven Winners Idea Book.
Will definitely buy lots of them next year.
Great video showing different uses and combinations!
Love this type of video, very informative.
Love it!! Thanks for your informations 😘
They are such elegant plants, I watched several of your videos where you planted these beauties in containers and I thought I have to get some of those plants they are so pretty.
Beautiful collection of Diamond plants, thanks so much for sharing Laura XXXX
I can’t wait to try the diamond snow.😊
I couldn't agree more! These plants are outstanding! I used the Frost and the Mountain variety last year and loved them! Hoping to try out the Snow variety this year as well
I've been in love with Diamond Frost for several years after seeing it in an historical lighthouse garden here in Southern, NJ. The gardener there told me what it was. He had it planted in a cottage garden in between zinnias, echinacea and peonies and it was just like someone threw fairy dust ~ like diamonds into that garden. It was so airy! I had never seen it before but have used it every year since! This video made me want to try both the snow and mountain varieties this year too! Just love how it blooms all season! ~ Stephanie 🕊
Love this video. Hope I can find these plants where I live. Would love to use them in my garden.
I love the diamond frost, they’re a little more wispy & fairy garden like. 😊 I love them all of course, but that’s my favorite!
Diamond Frost is my favorite to use with petunias. 😊
I just received my PW Gardener's Idea Book this week. I'm planning my containers now, can't wait but we still have snow on the ground.
So love these!
Looks very nice i going to give a try 🌱😃
Your videos are amazing! I have learned so much from you. I purchased the Diamond Frost 2 weeks ago and planted them with my purple Pentas in a container, the pair is a dynamic duo. The container looks spectacular with the addition on the Diamond Frost. Thank you for the introduction of this Diamond series, I love them!!!
You are awesome. The longer the video got, the more I was convinced to get these.... and I will definitely look for them. Thanks for sharing... oh I will also look for that tall grass in the last photo. Thanks again.
I really like this type of video....I really like lantana too
These plants are fantastic. After watching you use them I tried them in my planters last summer and I was very happy with their performance. They give a lovely soft airy look and although delicate, the flowers do show.
I love to use diamond frost in flower arrangements, i cant wait to plant diamond snow this year in the garden, since its election year, the front yard will have all red, white and blue flowers, cant wait to get started on it. Love all vlogs.
Very informative video, I've planted the Diamond Frost in the past but I think I will plant all 3 in different locations in the garden this year. I'm going to try wintering them over also, I didn't know you could do that. Thank you Laura.
I have always used the Diamond Frost® Euphorbia in my planters, it's the only one of these that was available in my area. I will definitely look for the other two this year. I love the pop of white these plants give to an arrangement.
My mom is obsessed with you... she keeps thinking your name is Rebecca....after every episode she talks about 30 minutes about how stunning your fluency is... :)
I have planted Diamond Frost and loved it. I think I have an area I can try the other two, especially the Diamond Snow. Your containers are so beautiful.
Thank you for all the videos, love them. Will you be making a video on setting up a moon garden including the flowers and foliages you recommend. Thank you.
I used the diamond mountain in a container with a coleus, sweet potato vine and verbena. It was AMAZING! I’m so excited to use more this year. Thanks for the overview!
Great information. I used diamond frost with salmon colored geraniums in an iron basket on the front porch an it was a very willowy display. And the year before in containers will variegated carex and the another whispy display. Thanks for introducing us to them a few years ago.
This is very helpful!
Bought some diamond frost!👍
These flowers are so pretty and I can't wait to use them in containers. Laura I love all the examples you give us. Hey Laura enough of the I don't normally use red in my garden especially when I see how well they look in your garden. I am seeing more red especially coleus
Love them Laura❤️❤️❤️
Have you used the Diamond Mountain in cut arrangements? I do lots of arrangements and baby's breath has such a short bloom time.
Was wondering the same thing.
I have! As long as you wash the sap off well before adding it to the water with other flowers, it does wonderful! They were the longest lasting flower in the bunch! While not affecting the other blooms life span.
I have even left the euphorbia in the water and it roots! I replanted it into pots now I have 5 plants indoors!!
I live in a mountain lake community although lovely in many ways for gardening with sadly only dappled light and shade it can be a challenge when trying for color....no real full sun to speak of...coleus is my go to ... hoping these might be a bit of a dream come true as well! Thanks for sharing!
Ohhh wish I knew about these soon but there is always next year! I just started from seed 3 similar but more ground hugging seeds from swallowtail... snowfix, Irish moss, and silver carpet (it has grey foliage)
I planted Diamond Frost with ghost ferns, white begonia, and creeping Jenny in a large antique iron planter, so lovely. Looking forward to trying the other two varieties, especially the Diamond Snow.
I’ve been looking for these plants I haven’t seen any at nearby nursery’s only online hope I can get my hands on them soon 🤞
Beautiful plants, I wish they were available in my country and I'm guessing they'd be perennials, too. Maybe one day!!
Have a great weekend!! 😊
