Looks like this place is absolutely THRIVING thanks to the buyout. Glad it got saved.
Yeah it's not quite the same as it used to be, and Cartman permanently has a special seat in the house. But I suppose if it weren't for Cartman, Casa Bonita would be gone now.
I remember Matt saying it would have been cheaper to just build a new restaurant down the street, place was a mess. No one else could or would have gotten this done.

I used to go there on field trips when I was a small kid in the 80’s, then moved far far away. It wasn’t until recently that I saw this place in the news. Lots of awesome early memories at this place. Thanks for uploading your visit! Def a walk down memory lane.
Just had the incredibly fortunate chance to go in May and it truly is a piece of a themepark in a strip mall. Like you said, they even have the backside of water! Such a wonderful, special place. Glad you were able to get there!

I am 60 y/o and we used to go to the one in Little Rock all the time but my parents also took us to Denver and I believe it was Oklahoma City or Tulsa as well. Denver was the BEST! I really would love to go here for my 61 Birthday in December and take my Grand Baby's ❤🎉🎉🎉
They did a phenomenal job with the renovations! It's once again a must do when in Denver... if you can get in.

I heard it was crappy microwave food before the remodel
It was horrible and most of the business came from elementary and middle schools field trips 😂😂😂 I hated it as a kid.

I remember reading something saying that they need to sale out the restaurant during its open hours every day for the next fifty year just to break even......
Every time we took a trip down to visit relatives back in the 80s and 90s we would go there. The food was bland, but the atmosphere was always amazing.
The heavy theming in that place is absolutely stunning that's a cool place

The waiting list is over 1 YEAR long at the moment My friend is on it.
They have recently announced they are changing the reservation system, the waiting list is going away and anyone can make reservations starting Sept 16 2024
Looks like it's not so much a restaurant as it is a themed attraction where food is included in the price of admission. The food itself will never be the best under those circumstances, but that's not really why you're there anyway.
That's so awesome. Question. How long was the wait to get an email to reserve? I signed up my email. Hoping to visit too. 🙏

The future has these video menu boards, where you can order virtual food while watching a video. Weird, they call it video games. #kylesmomwantsanaptera

Food is way overpriced, but the renovations are great. I'm glad Parker and Stone saved it. Too many quirky themed restaurants from the 70s and 80s have long since died. The few that remain must be preserved!

Lived nearby all my life, this is nostalgia gone amuck. They can’t even open regular business hours.
