I’ve ridden this ride countless times. While watching it, I was thinking how lame the elements look. But honestly, it’s a solid ride. That launch and semi-top hat really put your stomach in your throat. Compared to like Maxxx Force, I’m sure it’s not that great but it’s solid for what it is and when it was made.
This coaster looks so confused, like I wanna be a launched coaster, but i also have a lift hill, and the most weird transfer track i have seen, also lets do like only 1 or 2 elements after the lift hill... Really weird lay out. But it looks like it has aged pretty well for a 20 year old coaster, it looks pretty smooth.
Yeah this is old and new track from the previous water ride/rollercoaster that used to occupy this plot: Buzzsaw Falls. That’s where the lift hill comes from. I’ve ridden this ride countless times. This roller coaster was a redesign from Buzzsaw Falls which was part track and part water. What you don't see in the video is the restraint system is just alittle lap bar holding you in place.
My friend and I went to SDC this summer and had no idea what to expect when we rode this coaster but we actually loved it and rode it several times! It has a lot more kick to it than you can really see in a POV video so I think you have to experience it in person to really get a good feel for it. Fun coaster! =)
I have never liked building any model coaster Custom or not, with two lifts. (one knex alternative had 2 lifts). Then they got a launch and a lift. P.s yes I know it was a repurposed leftover from a prior water coaster.
I don't like that lift hill in the middle. It ruins the whole experience by slowing you down all of a sudden while flying at full speed. They should've replaced it with a second launch entirely.
@@ryancommenter-r7o By keeping the most boring part of it? If they want to preserve it, they should've had Mack Rides build a better and more reliable version of Buzzsaw Falls, similar to how they asked RMC to build a newer version of Fire In The Hole.
This looks like a rct2 build, but they ran out of money at the end and said F it, just finish the ride so we can make so money. “I’ll finish it later.”
Got a back row ride on this this spring! Switch track to air launch was cool, they even have some effects that trigger at the launch for the people watching, but I found the extended meandering of the rest of the layout to be pretty forceless, I much prefer the short but sweet other S&S air launch Maxx Force at my home park of SF Great America
Make no mistake, this ride is a blast! When you're on it, it's a very fun and wild experience!
Old S&S made sone really weird and unique rides but this one is a good mix.

Dont forget, it used to be a water coaster

And it also wants to go backwards with a spike behind the launch track but it never decides to every time.
It’s so goofy it’s awesome. Often longest line at the park
yea idk why they just left the layout like that at the end lmaoo
This was constructed from the graveyard of another ride (Buzz Saw Falls). That’s some of the weirdness factor. Great ride though. Love the launch.
Rode this a while back, the weirdness of the layout makes it unpredictable and fun!
1:30 the track switch 😂
i think it’s like grease drips from the chain lift lol
This coaster looks so fun
It really is! The launch makes me scream every time! I love the air time and drops on each hill! The speed is great too! 😁

Can’t go wrong with an air launch!
Crazy to think this is one of just a half dozen air launch coasters in the world…
more air launch coasters please!
They always seem to have massive downtime unless it's a slow one though (one in China works great from S&S but it goes like 45mph not 80 or higher).
i originally thought it was a kids coaster it cant be that good but the amount of airtime this coaster has is insane and the launch is so fun
This is the first roller coaster i ridden when i was a kid
One of my favorites!
Love this ride and park
Gosh that launch is punchy!!
Very
This looks like a mini launched B&M hyper with them camel backs
It has parking sensors! Very 2005 😝😂
Lifthill sounds on point 😂

Compressed air launch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Layout ⭐️▪️▪️▪️▪️
this is such a strange coaster but it's very fun.
Hi Coaster Studios!
Silver dollar city again wow
Man this is why I want compressed air and hydraulic launches to stay and not all be LSMs.
Lol I rode this yesterday

no, it’s persevering the original ride that it replaced

What a weird coaster. But I enjoyed it.

wow
Whos idea was it to put drop tower restraints on a coaster??

what a weird coaster lol
Weird ride
And?
Why the weird transfer section in the beginning
Because it used to be a water ride
Looks kind of boring
🤡
You haven’t ridden it, so you can’t be talking.
