This was so nostalgic for me it almost brought me to tears. I’m 20 years old and remember what an impact this had on me as a child. Kids in this day and age will never understand how great transformers were from 2001-2013.
I couldn’t disagree more. TFP is good but Michael Bay’s Transformers movies are some of the most damaging pieces of media for the Transformers. Not to mention there are stories like Last Stand of the Wreckers and Transformers Animated that exist.

Transformers Is my all-time Favorite Robo-Fiction animation ever. I can write a whole paragraph about how it Changed my life when I first watched it, I love it so much. I hope they make more in the future. I’ve always been a huge fan of how they became Allies and defeated Megatron.
I was really late to the party on tfp, I watched it for the very first time last year, and even though I’d been spoiled on what happened to Optimus at the end, I *still* cried over it. This show may not be perfect but no show is, and it’s an incredibly solid series and I think it deserves the praise it gets! (I haven’t seen TF: One yet, but I’m planning on it, I’m hearing it lives up to TFP so I’m hopeful!)

Optimus prime has to be one of the absolute legendary and greatest characters in the history of fiction. He always has been and always will be.
