Going to a 3 day festival in Western New Mexico in May 2024. Pretty excited to road trip around NM again. My 3rd year going.. El Malpais Monument and volcanic ice caves are pretty cool and recommend. The festival is about 30 mins from there so I hope I get to do more trails and ruins. Land keeps calling me back.
Beautiful country ❤️

@Brenden Harris sure is.
Beautiful all thanks for sharing love from Southeast Asia 💕
I’ve only been to 6 of the 10 places listed on this video. Two cool places not on this list are Tent Rocks as well as The Catwalk, but there are many many more hidden treasures in the land of enchantment. As a native Burqueño (Person from Albuquerque. Burqueña is the feminine form.) I love my state.
What about Los Alamos and Espanola
I’m planning a road trip from San Antonio do you have any other great spots to visit. I love the funky strangeness of west Texas do you have a place like that in New Mexico
@@ambergrislo1070From SA as well. what did you end up doing?? Going w my son for a week at the beginning of June. What are some musts and stay aways?
My family visited several national parks in NW, including the White Sands, Calsbad Caverns, and Bandelier National Monument, during the Xmas week of 2021. Nice place!!!
I moved here 4 years ago
I love it here!!
What are the down sides?
Taylor Mountain, Blue Hole, and Laguna, New Mexico's Laguna Burger's are delicious! Try the chili too. Beautiful state, lava field 's on the side of I-40, boulder's lager that semi truck's!!! I would have NEVER believed it and pictures do not do it justice. Amazing fly over state.
What is beautiful about New Mexico? The dirt?
@@Username7758-zv5po Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder... having been all over the country at different season's I can honestly say I was surprised by the natural beauty New Mexico. Living in the northeast you have fall, southeast you have forest's and hot, humid summer's, southwest gives you beautiful desert's with sunset's of every color, the northwest with its rugged ocean coastline and we can't leave out the Midwest where you can see forever, nothing obstructs your view's. We have such a beautiful country. I hope you get to go explore it all!! Have a wonderful day.
I live in Clovis NM and we go to the Blue Hole every summer..🤗
@@tameramares5785 my daughter and I were going across country and saw a sign...a beautiful pit stop. Until we went inside to learn about Blue Hole I would have never dreamed there were caves down there. Next time we go we're definitely swimming there. Looks like so much fun!!!
Error: During the segment on Sante Fe, this video shows San Felipe de Neri Church, which is actually in Albuquerque.
Also, the Cumbres-Toltec ends in Antonito, not Antonio.
Thank you so much. I really appreciate. My boyfriend comes from Albuquerque. I'm German. Hopefully one day❤️
Amazing really very
I have been here as a gov't contractor now for a couple decades. If you are coming out to visit the state, definitely come during the Balloon Fiesta. Have at least one dinner at Gardunos. Buy a breakfast burrito, know how to answer the question: Red, Green or Christmas? I would skip most of Albuquerque and run North to Santa Fe and Los Alamos. If you go to LA, as the locals call Los Alamos, catch a bus in White Rock to Bandelier National Monument. The other parks listed in this clip, although beautiful, can take a big chunk of time to get to.
I grew up in Santa Fe!👍
It's a beautiful city.
I miss Tomasitas
Viva Nuevo México!
Very cool on you for doing a video on my birth state.
I live in peralta New Mexico, just a small town but it's nice. Have a great day 😁

Go luck and make sure to watch which side you approach from . Yeah stay away from the city ,unless you driving straight threw..
You can look at it from the road but you can't get up close, it's a protected sacred site.
@@danieljensen2626 but ican tour you toShiprock site and answer what want know about the rock for free. I took visitors there.
