More things to do in Chiangmai with kids!

Chiangmai has many restaurants with great playgrounds so the grown ups can chill while the little ones burn their energy. Do check out the video I made last year for a few of these spots. This time round we went to Nic’s ( nics.asia/en/ho...) which has an epic pirate ship climbing structure, trampoline, and a dedicated sink for water play. All the pails and sand toys are there, you don’t need to bring anything.
Also went to Yuubaan Studio ( www.instagram....) which was a great all rounder. Excellent food, ambience, facilities, amazing playground and a stream with fishies which our girls found great fun!
Finally, we went to Baan Suan Cafe in Doi Kham ( chiangmaifamil.... At the back is a deceptively simple playground which should not be underestimated. Our girls were so taken by it! There is also a shallow stream with a swing and the kids can just paddle or skip stones.
For attractions, we revisited some of the greatest hits from the last trip. You can check out the video. We also went to Cocoon Farm ( chiangmaifamil...) where you can learn about the life cycle of silkworms and try your hand at weaving. The entry price includes a craft activity, and you can choose between tie-dying, making a wind chime or painting pots. You can feed farm animals there too.
I highly recommend Pong Yaeng Adventure Park ( m.bangkokpost..... There is a jungle roller coaster that is great for kids 3 and up because you can control the speed yourself. Manageable thrills. Go first thing in the morning, otherwise the queues get crazy. There are other rides and a zipline for older kids, and you can eat at this cafe on nets suspended over a waterfall.
