Heto yung sinasabi ni Plato. Twin Flame ito, magkaiba ito sa soulmates. Marami tayo soulmates pero nag iisa lang ang twin flame. Kapag nakilala mo soulmate mo iba yung bond na na parang bestfriend, lovers o compatible kayo sa lahat ng bagay. Mas magulo kung makilala mo twin flame mo kasi dun mo mararanasan yung roller coaster ride emotions. Tingin ko nameet ko na twin flame ko at ang masasabi ko lang ay sobra hirap ng pagdadaanan mo at susubukin ka talaga. Kaya nga sabi nila na "its better to meet your soulmate than your twin flame". Mas mauunawaan nyo kapag napasok na kayo sa Spirituality. Pero nasa sa iyo na yon kung alin ang gusto nyo paniwalaan.
You can relate this romantically though. I believe na having a soulmate isn't just a lover. Like they've discussed, it can be a family member and/or a friend. And you can have several soulmates in every aspect of your life depending on the context and where you are in the present.

its too cheesy to say but I've been believing in the idea of soulmates since i was a kid, i dont have a clear definition of it yet but i just simply think of it as there's someone out there that was made for you, just for you. that you guys are meant to meet and know each other in a most unexpected way. regardless if you two will eventually fall apart or not, the most important is you guys met and known each other. its a lovely idea that giving me hope and makes me realize that life is not over yet, i have to meet my soulmate.

I guess ang verdict ay the only correct definition of a "soulmate" is subjective. It entirely depends on how someone defines it on their relationship. Sabi nga nila, "to each of their own". However, it's important that it shouldn't affect your other relationships with other people.

I got my concept of soulmate from Paulo Coelho's Brida. He refered soulmates to our twin flame/soul. Someone who has the same spirit as you. Someone who will help you grow and blossom. Same with Ms. Einj, they may be one, two or many kasi our soul divides into two, and those souls are then transformed into two and so on. They will appear in our lives to teach us or reveal us something and after our every encounter with each of them, we become a better version of ourselves. They will or will not stay in our lives though. But if they leave, we will still find ourselves greatful of their arrival. “Not everyone lasts forever in life. Some soulmates come in your life, serve their purpose and leave.” 🙃

For me, a soulmate is someone who we can consider our TOTGA. Yung compatible kayo pero hindi pwede and you two never really got into a relationship but you always felt the need of each other's presence. Dyan din pwede pumasok ang emotional cheating if may masasaktang iba.

Soul mate= someone you’re most compatible with. I get where ange is coming from. Establishing a relationship with your soul mate is a lot easier because of your compatibility, but it doesn’t guarantee that your relationship will flourish or will last longer (assuming that you are already in a relationship) because that is still up to the both of you. Kumbaga may headstart lang kayo kasi compatible nga, but it’s still up to you to make the relationship work
But it’s different na if you define soul mate as the person you’re destined to be with.

i have multiple people who i consider my soulmates but we have different main circle of friends. and its true that your relationship with your soulmate doesn’t necessarily mean it’s above your other relationships but there’s just that bond and connection that’s so deep. hence, i think your relationship with your soulmate will less likely to break because that connection with depth that you share together is the reason why you guys consider soulmates in the first place

From Jan's explanation, I feel like my soulmate is my soulmate is my bff. We got the connection like how Jan explained their connection with their best friend. But from what Einj said, I feel like we've drifted apart. It's sad tho. I agree to Maui, I feel like whenever I "label" you as my soulmate, dapat connected na tayo lagi.
i don't agree with the girl's definition of a soulmate that it changes... if it changes, it's just a tight relationship. you can just say that every person you click with is your soulmate if that is the case. even if the other girl (sorry, i'm not sure about their pronouns/identity) said that "then nagbabago yung soul?" as a joke, i think it's a valid argument. I think the term loses its meaning when you define it as something that changes. I think the very word is rooted on its eternal nature.

Yes, I agree. I read a book about reincarnation and thats where soulmates are somewhat rooted. So, soulmate is not just the feelings or close bonds or attachment. It is way deeper and older than all of us.

i agree with miss einj that you don't have a sole soulmate. a soulmate can be a person or a group of people who understands you before you explain yourself, sync agad kayo. not necessarily romantic kind but someone who brings out something in you whenever you're with them.

A soulmate is a person who seems to connect with you at a "soul level" - you just know. It's just so easy you can be your best or true self without putting any effort. There are relationships where you need to put up a front (persona) but a soulmate just sees through all your lies you tell yourself. I think you cannot compartmentalize or box the idea of a soulmate. It depends on your relationships and experiences. it's sometimes romantic and mundane, sexual and platonic, living or non-living (if it's even possible). A soulmate is a personal, intimate type of feeling that you can only identify once felt.

For me lang, I think "soulmate" is your equal half. And ano, generalized sya, meaning it doesnt have to be in a romantic way but in any kind of connection...could be your mom or anybody else. Parang yin yang nagkokompleto kayong dalawa sa mga mundo nyo. Pwede naman na hindi pareho ang mga opinions or ang own truths nyo but kung mag share kayong dalawa it balances off the situation or that particular topic. Still may understanding parin kayo in a deeper level to the point where it's almost telepathic. Parang magka-vibes kayo to the highest level. Ganon.
