I never knew that Jon Ola Sand was a member of Hooverphonic.
He also magically grew hair🤣
Take it away !
As someone who is from Belgium and knows what kind of music they make, I'm really hopeful this is going to be good and we might have a chance of ending high up in the ranking!
@@edicarlos4704 I know, he is known for being kind of arrogant and annoying. Then again he is a big part of the writing behind Hooverphonic and so he knows most about the things behind the song. I don't know if he'll take advice on his presence though 😂 so we'll see!
@@edicarlos4704 I know, I'm not telling you he's gonna get a lot of votes based on who he is. I was saying why he spoke the most during the interview. And one can only hope for its country 😉😊
@@edicarlos4704 99% of the people who watch ESC only watch the show itself and don't know anything about the artists, so I don't see the problem. Also, he's the leading man and the creative brain behind the band and he's very passionate about his craft.
@@edicarlos4704 Hi Edi, i disagree.
First of all Eurovision isn't a competition similar to X-factor, The Voice or even Idol. In those competitions the people really get the time to know the artists and also the program itself puts alot of effort in exploring the person behind the voice. Eurovision on the other hand only pays little attention to that.
Where i do agree is that for Eurovision-journalists and the fanbase, the competition starts right after the previous winner. Those people get months to know the different artists and yes, for them finding a very interesting person behind the artist is important. And indeed, those who manage to win the hearts of the journalists gets extra press-moments and are mentioned as favorits more often.
But besides myself and the world on the internet, i do barely know anyone who knows the artists before the liveshows (except from our own participant and maybe a very famous and international artist who is competing as well). Most people get in touch with everything the very evening of the competition itself. Delivering a perfect performance is what counts, along with a good song which is enjoyable for a broad amount of people and which stands out between all the other ones.
Eurovision winners won because they had something different and appealed to the entire audience. The "should've wons" only managed to win over the hearts of the fanbase and Eurovision-journalists.
I'm soooooo excited for their song. :)
I’m from Belgium And I’m Excited To See What For Song They Are Gonna Bring Us
Imagine that we actually win after all these years 😳
Great Video again and thanks for this Interview 👍🥰
Good Luck Hooverphonic
I see Hooverphonic, I press like ❤️
I'm really looking forward for the song!
Cant wait for their song!
Glad to see them!
Thank you very much for this interview. Very, very interesting. I hope for the alternative angle ;)
As a Belgian, I know what music they've made in the past and I'm quite sure it will be good!
you know?, you know?, you know?, you know?, you know?, you know?, you know?
actually i don't know
That could be a good sign, you know what I mean? Duncan Laurence did a similar thing, you know what I mean?
I’d love an ESC in Bruxelles !!!! Fingers crossed for a good song 🤞🏼
I have great taste in music.. hooverphonic was great in 90s good in 00s...when you switch the singers.. it s always complicated.
17/2/20 save the date
Raymond (the man with the glasses) is such a daddy! 😍😍
I think they'll get 4th place. Just a prediction so far.
Kutay Küçükalp the curse of Blanche!
@@Joraultechy And Loic (2015 one). Every time Belgium send nice artists and song they have come 4th.
Belgium will be the last qualified. As in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
@@mariedbk No doubt for that :)
The guy on the left seems so self-obsessed 🙄Good luck for the girl to deal with that!
Sleeps ALot ikr annoying!
You don't know him. He's actually really nice. Yes, he seems a bit cold at the beginning, but he means well.
@@sannev8407 I agree with you but still, he should let Luka and Raymond talk more because otherwise, people will think he's arrogant and not likeable at all. He might mean well and he does have a strong opinion but he should just start by not interrupting Luka and Raymond, when they're talking.
@@ThomasDelrue I agree about that point that they should not be interrupted. But he's sort of the boss and maker of the group and therefor he talks the most. Luka and Raymond are not he biggest talkers either. But if they want to, they should have their moments to talk, I agree
No. I think he’s just passionate about it, also probably has the best English 😂😬
You know
Does the guy on the right have a voice too?
Yes he does and very sexy one
In the Dutch interview yes. I just think English isn't his forte. :P
Alex doesn’t allow anyone else to talk...
When wiwiblogs react to the songs of Festival da Canção? Rebelion is the best 🙏
No Geike no Hooverphonic.
Did someone heard Tolmachevy sisters song playing in this video ? (Russia 2014) 🤣
I like them, I've heard their songs before. But I see a lot of mansplaining in the interviews, am I the only one?
No, you're not. Although Alex is decades older than Luka (the girl) and is the original member of the band, I don't see why the entire band is doing these interviews if Alex keeps condescendingly talking over Luka and doesn't let anyone else speak. I reckon Luka will leave soon. This band already went through a bunch of singers, there must be a good reason for that.
I'm so glad they don't like the overrated Euphoria and have balls to say it!!! 👏👏👏
Veta Voloshanca though i personally very much liked Euphoria, I liked that too
I don't like the frontman, he's antipatic amd acts like he knows everything and doesn't allow other members to say anything
Mr Nilsson he isn’t. He is our Voice judge and many contestants from his team said that in real life he is strict, but yet soft, nice and kind.
He is a founder of Hooverphonic, he is obsessed with music his whole life , of course he has much to say.
We Belgians love and respect him.
Edi de Oliveira the rest of the world doesn’t care lol. 95% of the voting audience will see them at the stage on the big night. This is song competition, he won’t change his character because of the couple of commentators on the internet.
@@edicarlos4704 belgium doesn't need to understand anything, Alex is the one to blame. Not our entire population.
@@edicarlos4704 doesnt mean that I am responsable tough🤷♂️
Edi de Oliveira omg get a life , you take this competition way to serious. You give no arguments, you only keep saying same things.
10 years too late
