Great to see that you are flying with our national airline Aer Lingus “Shamrock” from Dublin to JFK - I’ve lived 21 years in Manchester myself and I only fly with Aer Lingus when I come home to Ireland on visits to family - you may be aware that all Aer Lingus aircraft are named after Irish Saints and there is an annual blessing of the fleet at Dublin Airport - in JFK there is a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Skies - and in 1979, a specially adapted Aer Lingus B737 flew the late Saint Pope John Paul II to Ireland from Rome to Dublin and onto JFK from Shannon - I was only a child at the time, but we lived very close to Dublin Airport and we saw the Papal Flight coming in with an escort from the Irish Air Corps in thier Fougha Majister fighter jets dispersing over our village, with many people having went to attend the Papal Mass in Dublin’s Phoenix Park
Amazing, great video. Aer Lingus seem like a reasonably good airline for long haul travel. Trying my first long haul EI flight on Tuesday to orlando from Dublin

@@DeanFlanagan-gj8cv I know I’m just saying will they refit the aircraft that have the older economy cabin with the older IFE screens with the newer ones like “EI FNG” as you mentioned
The IFE was a bit outdated along with the cabin overall still comfortable with the 2-4-2 config, assuming eventually all EI A330’s will be reconfigured, unless they are focusing on the new A321Neos
