GC used listings are usually bad in terms of photos but overall the used guitars they sell are quite good. That's a beauty of a guitar. Congrats on that guitar! You scored well. I purchased about 5 used guitars from GC online and everything was as they described. I just liked and subscribed.
I used to order all of my stuff through it and it just stopped adding anything to my cart one day. Oh well. But this guitar...worth the extra effort to get it. lol. Thanks! ⚡️🦩
I have to say we have the same issues with guitar shops in the UK . Some of the absolute rubbish I've been sent which have been completely miss described not just limited to guitar centre! But that looks absolutely amazing and a really unbelievable price
It seems bigger shops just don't care. It pays to try and shop local, whether mom and pop or a smaller chain, which actually, I have a video idea talking about that (not to keep harping on it, but it's an interesting take). In the end, I say I got lucky it is what it is and it came in the condition it was in.
Beautiful neck on this one. Nice find/deal. My first electric guitar was/is a MIJ Jackson Stealth HX (often on the wall in the background of my vids). Love those things!
@@Electric.Flamingo Made in Japan stuff is absolute inferno. That Tele I have been using on my insta is a 95 MIL Nashville Tele and the craftsmanship is incredible. I can recall playing a better feeling Tele and I have played a bunch. They are a staple of my father's guitar collection through my lifetime. Thinlines, squiers, fenders, whatever...that MIJ has always been my favorite. Glad you found a sweet deal to share with us!
Ordered fender player plus strat in "limited neon green" and after it was on its way to me I realized they didn't make that color for the plus and it's listed wrong. Ordered an actual player plus and I'll return other one when it gets here.
@@Electric.Flamingo yea I havent played in about 15 years lol just decided to get back into it kinda rushed into purchase, and just watching videos it hit me, I don't think this is a player plus.
@helluva9064 well unless you really want the top on it, a regular player series is basically the same. I also got a video checking out the player series, if you haven't seen that yet and want some more info. 👀
good find man.. GC used listings are so hit or miss... the pictures are garbage, the descriptions are usually wrong and the employees do the bare minimum when listing their used items. I ordered a Tama kit once that was in 'excellent' condition, had it shipped to the store in case it was trash. Turned out there were cracks in the shells and rims of the drums were rusted and corroded. Told them to keep it and give me my money back.
Thanks! That is 100% on point with the listings and I should have mentioned the horrendous photos on the listings sometimes. lol. The condition is always a toss up, as in the case with your experience, that sucks dude.
There are technically rules in place for returns that qualify the item to still be sold as new. There could be a guitar bought and returned to 5 years and still qualify to be sold as new. So it's more than you think, I'm sure.

Hi..are there other online stores that you wouldn't recommend buying used guitars from because of experience with them?..thanks
The Guitar Center app is absolute garbage, never works for me. 🙄 but hey that guitar is sick! The maple neck with the black accents looks so nice 😮

I think I know the one, I see it a lot!
Good find, lovely to see!
This lady IS present, by the way. :-)
Well hello, lady! lol. It's a wonderful find, I'm super happy to have it in my arsenal!
Great video! And I agree just because you can get a great deal does not mean it wasn't listed correctly and you should be cearfull and awesome guitar!
Thanks for checking it out! ⚡️🦩
Yooooo! Nice pick up bro! That thing is awesome!
It's been a main player as of late, its stupid nice. Thanks!⚡️🦩

Gotta check those specifics!

Im wondering if theyre new stuff is really new or might have been USED a bit. How am I to know?

That is a super find!
Very much so, I am enjoying it. I scour constantly in hopes of finding something like this. Paid off in spades! ⚡️🦩
i like it better than Reverb cheap shipping and easy 48 day return at any GC store
True
I'll trade you an Ibanez GRG 130 1DX in red and an Ibanez GRG 250 DXB and all white for your neck
GC App sucks. Not enough description/pictures on the products , New or Used.
Amen to that
@@Electric.Flamingo Glad your experience went well. Nice guitar !
