To all hygienists here: you'll be surprised but most cooks in the world (including your mom) prepare food WITHOUT gloves. OMG, how we eat IT.
But mom's hand are 100% clean
+aya yes true
Don't talk bushtit on hygiene here, this is not a hygiene lesson, look how amazing and tasty Indian food are, what we eat in west is just raw food or artificial junk food, no tasty, no innovation,
The difference is that there are 3 sets of hands making these sweets thats 3 men all doing hard work in a hot enviroment. I can already taste the saltiness of their hard labor xD
+Chad Dissanayake man I support you
No one here is commenting on them handling HOT SUGAR WITH BARE HANDS???? DO YOU KNOW HOW INCREDIBLE THAT IS?
Exactly
very sweet
Absolutely right.. because hot sugar can seriously do damage to their hands.. really commendable..
you just eat and see how tasty is tha
no wonder soan papdi taste so delicious
wtf all these efforts for me to swallow a freakin cube!! I will respect Soan Papadi until my last breath
very true... Me too

P.S my exam went well , i was just nervous .
So... How did the exam go?
+Retired Dark Lord sweet
same pinch....! 😂
me too bro
lol :D :D
hats off for te first creator of this recipe.....really thought out of the box
I think someone copied someone, or Vietnam and Korea copied india, or India and Korea copied Vietnam
It tastes so gud but to make it is really very hard work. Liked it. Grt job guys.
another use of dandiya after navratri...
kshitij tandel 😂😂😂
kshitij tandel 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
kshitij tandel 😂😂😂😂😂
kshitij tandel ha ha,😀
kshitij tandel perfectly said....😂😂😂😂😂
My uncle bought me a box and I thought it would be easy to make and so I checked.... far out... I'd be dead making this. Those men work so hard.. I could not believe the difficulty in making Soan Papdi. Good job!
yeah it hard to made but is that a box you got of branded company then It was made from machine not from hands

never thought soan papdi is dis much hard to make...😯
That is so unsanitary. Not just because they are not using gloves but because the utensils they are using were on the floor.
plot twist: That's Rapunzel's hair.
jk
hehehe that's a good one
good one
omgggg frrr😂
Fffffurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...
exactly
now i get why sona papdi is over priced and taste so great...
my dad once told me when he was younger he would make candy and it would burn his hands when he mixed it, then roll it up, cut it into small pieces and sell a piece for a penny. This reminds me of that
+Melanie Grey the same for me, i'm peruvian and my grundmom prepares this, we call "alfeñique" and yeah it's very hot when she prepares.
+Stephanie Reque Cigarrostegui how cool that different countries from around the world makes a candy so similar
;) yes
+Melanie Grey Respect! My mom still burns her fingers whenever she makes some sweets or snacks using hot oil! There are some Indian sweets where you have to mix peanuts with hot caramelized syrup before everything cools down. I tried it once and felt the heat of the stove and the plate!
Hence I have stopped asking her for anything since past few years!
people who thinks it's funny, have you tasted anything aside meat and canned food?
you canned food living people tastes anything and tell either it's taste like chicken or pork or beef your taste buds are filled with these kind of food. what you know about India and it's food? Your every recipe is just same, or copied from other countries there is no authenticity in your food. once you taste this sweet your tongue will never go for those canned stinky foods.
I wonder who came up with the idea
Ikr it's sooo hard to think about it
How hard these 3 men are doing for making this sweet......
but they have wased their hànds
wtf dose that has to with anything
I
Similar in method to Dragon's Beard candy in Korea. I imagine with machines making these types of pulled candies, they are a dying art form. Hopefully people keep making these sweets the old-fashioned way and pass their skills to the next generation.
@@shreya1267 ur comment is very cringy
@@ermmmmmidk sorry, that was a long time ago. i feel so embarrassed lmao. please ignore that. i'm gonna go delete myself now-
To all those complaining. They aren't forcing you to eat it so if you aren't happy with their hygiene then go somewhere else. This video is simply to show the procedure.
I second that
👍👍👍
Be grateful it's human hand not some 20days old frozen food you get in restaurants!
smartipants123 learn to take care of your customers
why do Indians get upset when someone points out the UNHYGIENIC nature of the preparation. they should take steps to correct it. Why do you take it as a personal insult?
if 3rd world countries like Thailand and Vietnam, Phillipines can ensure better hygiene why can't Indians do.
omg ...they were using dandiya stick 😂😂
my all time favourite is haldiram soan papdi..!
Lisa samaddar
Lisa samaddar
Lisa samaddar my favorite also that only

okay no problem with the "clean" but do you have to do it on the FLOOR, really!
@Rustic Human ...on a table?
@Rustic Human and your point is...?
@Rustic Human placing a pan on a table is unnecessarily complicated?
@@Anthro777 A table can get shaky with the amount of force being applied on it. People are working with minimum resources. They are not inviting you for a treat here.
Black hands does not means its dirty.
I could intern here to build muscles
divya...currently ur muscles are hard enough ! ha ha ha
I bet u guys it will be the best soan papdi in the world coz it's hand made....
It depends on the milk thingy that was put into it
+Dicks out For harambe its not a milk its a paste of gram flour and all purpose flour(maida) mixed in hot desi ghee
anymel
how does it matter ? if machine made has same ingriedients are used it will also be tasty... its not a roti to be tasty bcoz its hand made......!
these making is very hard sweet s three man that work

Someone PLEASE make a machine for this... Poor guys!!
Reshma Ramakrishnan machines doesn't makes it tastier
Reshma Ramakrishnan no machines will rid them of job opportunities , leading to poverty and low national level of income and that's the last thing India needs :") . They came looking for jobs to get money right and they willingly came to work here ... they're not forced to XD ... its a lot of hard work I know but then all of us have to work hard too to earn right XD

you're right.

They are hardworking.
I dont understand why social sites show only the dirtiest part of India, other countries too have dirtiest things inbuilt.
There are other ways of making it though. But its good watching this, probably I will never eat this sweet again.
Thanks to the uploader.
wow I never knew it took so much effort! definitely will appreciate them more when eating lol
very similar to Turkish sweets writing, on our channel there is a recipe for easy cooking, otherwise they are very turbid
But u will find some saltiness in india due to hands without gloves😅
बोहोत मेहनत है सभी को दिल से नमन
Ingredients - In the first part the jelly like material is hot concentrated sugar syrup with some glucose syrup added to avoid crystallization of sugar. (One may use a little vinegar instead of glucose syrup). It is called as "don tari pak दोन तारी पाक" in Marathi. After making a nice dove with a bundle of thread like structure, the yellow colored liquid added is a mixture of finely ground Gram Dal and refined wheat flour fried in fat from milk - called as "ghee घी"
So, From Today When i Will Have A Sanpapri I Will Think About The Effort oF Making This.

yup
Itni mehnat???!?!?!?!?!!!! Hats off to these confectioners who make amazing delicacies like Soan Papdi, Rewri and rest other sweets, which are easily gulped down but take a lot of strength and patience in their preparations!
V.vvvvvvvvvvvv good, great job. It tastes very good but making is very difficult.. Hatsoff to workers
So much khoon-paseena of several people. at least wear hand gloves ffs.
+Akash Vedi .....You eat roti and paratha also made with hand-gloves on ?
+Ravindra Singh Thakur Roti n parantha are not the things which takes such long time and they roll it with belan and yeah i would prefer gloves if non of my known human who is not infected is making the food and this is some industrial level cooking and we should encourage these people to follow norms for a better future.

This is by far my favorite indian sweet! I had it shipped from chennai and it was the Almond one and I was in love..I was stunned at how amazing the texture and almonds it melted in that one single bite...Also different types of nuts! and jelly candies and a scent stick, double mint gum extra strong which I havent seen in USA,jolly rancher lollipops and gums ect it was amazing. I also had coffe ground coffee from scratch it was so bold and no words to describe the aroma! I saw on video as the woman grinded the coffee...Its an honor to be born in such a country with so much creativity and types of spices and aromas...Thank you India

Forget about gloves. They do it on the floor. Don't you have a f'ing table?
In Turkey we call it "pişmaniye", it is often translated "cotton candy" in english

hmare ghar mein sohan hai uske pehle kharish hoti hai phir uske skin ki papdee bantee hai
Why they aren't wearing gloves while handling the food product...it puts such an bad impact
not complaining its hard work but they should wear gloves..gloves that don't slip
Anti Mage sweetness comes from soul through hands. Hands are the best. It boosts up taste
kelvin moses sweat and germs comes from hands as well
DESIGN SN humans are made from the dust nd return to the dust. Sweat and germs are nothing compared to the acids and immune system in our body. Human body is completely made up of bacteria. Water has germs , bacterias and micro organisms. The bottle that u use for drinking water is full of bacteria nd germs. Ur tongue has millions of bacterias nd germs. Better stay away from this planet if ur too consider at sweat nd germs.
Anti Mage I agree with u
Anti Mage tera kasur ni hai kuch hote hai ese chutiye
Imagine how patient and strong the first guy who made soan papdi was... Respect!!
is not hygiene at all
+Wilson Calle you're right, this isnt hygiene. it's food
And I officially destroyed my ingredients to make something which is nowhere to sonpapdi😓🥴🤪
ab toh bilkul he na man kare khaane ka 😐😕
Sahil Vig bhai ye local bakery ko h... Haldiram waghera m machine se hota hoga yaar sab.. Agr aise krne lag gye toh chl gya business
Respect from my heart for hardwork. Love for Soan papdi
soan papdi tastes amazing but why did they not wear gloves for cleanliness? its absurd.
+Joram Yajo wear gloves to your tongue also,
+Joram Yajo actually this were all students i guess but in industry they do use gloves actually they do it with machines so not to get absurd and just enjoy the taste...
Eezo 1505 maybe bcoz they washed their hands before making it
eezoo zizooo why do you assume that they have not thoroughly washed their hands before doing this or are you subconsciously equating brown skin as being dirty? Think about it, seriously.
Soan papdi is tasty sweet. It does't feel hard while eating as you thinking. Its as soft as piece of soft bread but sweet, tasty and melts in your mouth when you take a bite.
Its smells too good. You can find these sweets in Haldiram outlets or local sweet shops all over India. I regularly eat it just for $0.13 or Rs. 5 but never knew its this hard to make. Hats off to the people who make these. God bless them.
Damn Daniel
Omg its so difficult if Gordon Ramsay Makes it i guess I would sell it at freaking dollars per piece, but how come in india soan papdi has no respect with less price
Its really hard work to make,,
ok first of all. who would eat that shit by using their hands? couldnt they put gloves? oh my god! that is my many people died bcos of dirty foods. im so sorry but im saying what i want to say.
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think they are fighting for streching that son papdi
If this is meant to be ingested, why do they do it on the floor?
+Oscar Sánchez TG Its clean like those cooking platform used by Chefs to roll dough etc!
+thiruvetti How is it clean when guy has shoes on it?
Josh I was talking about the standard procedures. Its not always prepared on floor or such areas (atleast in the popular clean shops).
In India, you are not allowed to wear shoes inside the kitchen. I think this was a demonstration video! or if they usually wear shoes in this shop, its better to skip!
they used a tray.
***** You don't eat the dirt, do you? You wash them first.
they must have used gloves here and do it on elevated station. Bringing shoes near the product is strictly no,no. Seriously hygiene issue here. I am Indian.
so hardworking job.
Looks like rapunzel's hair 0:50
why they using the stick from my mommy's nightstand drawer that she told me to stay away from?
+The Crazy Sim sach you're very funny lol
+The Crazy Sim bahkte. song
Oh my god,, is it healthy!!? Why they didn't use cleaning way. Really nasty.
love this sweet...
No d
I'm sorry but no
These guys can wear hats for cleanliness, but not bother using hand gloves to sift it.!!! strange
at least wear gloves bruh
Michael Azad, yes u r absolutely right
I'm truly are
especially in a country where they wipe their assholes after shiting with their bare hands 😂
ancientoakgrove oh shut up. Says the one who eats pink slime aka chicken nuggets without fear of 'unhygiene'.
they are making it in aluminium vessels which is bad for health. food stuffs should be made in stainless steel etc vessels as aluminium has been found responsible for slow poisoning
i think it is patis called in pakistan.. any how i love the way of making... patisa is also prepare in thiz way
Bro Patisa is different from Son papdi. Son papdi looks similar but is very soft compared to Patisa which is harder
happy bunny well its method is same like patisa... Its looks also good but i had never taste it.. I wish i could
yes it is a patisa. patisa and son papdi is a same sweet

I hadn't ever realised that making soan papdi was so much difficult.Really appreciate their hard work.I just use to eat it but never knew that it needed so much efforts to be made..But love the soan papdi!
If they wear cloths like a chef like they r in a good play why they do in the floor :s im a chef and i never ever i will cook in the floor pr do rotis near to my legs and fit like some indian people do and many indian mooms cut the vegettbls in the floor why :\
+daniela jonsson I Think,u didn't notice.they used a tray..........
+al amin shawon yep but they r near to the floor then they let the sticks in the floor and take inside of the caramel sooo... They dt have higienic coz a good chef never let some near to the floor we have tables for that....
+al amin shawon look at 1:15min and the stick r in the floor and then again theu back to use in the candyyyyy i was living in india and workingg in a good hotel and the people clean the sweat with the arms and then little drops was inside and they dnt care....
+KRANTI KUMAR Abe vine ke piche hi pada rega kya
+KRANTI KUMAR Good point ! Thanks God I never did and will never have any of the two LOL .
how can you make food on the floor.they very very filthy cooks.do they not know what hygiene means.
who ever is talking about hygiene here..
1st u don't know if the hands are dirty or not and most of the dishes are cooked by hands everywhere.
secondly Indians have a very high level of immunity as compared to people in western countries. so if by any chance there are few bacterias here that u think are harmful, it will have no effect on our body.
+J you clearly have not visited INDIA ever.. and your opinion is probably based on some fairy story.
your comment shows your hatred for Indians.. that makes you a Racist as well..
so leave your mothers house and get out.. have some real knowledge and manners.
+bharat bhardwaj i was born and raised in New Delhi and i agree that some hygeine is needed when cooking. Especially since these cooks look like professionals yet still put utendils on the ground.
What I don't care for is they are working on the floor next to shoes and dirt. the sticks fall on the floor and they use them again . I'm used to seeing pastry workers using clean table tops.
wow that looks appetising, sorta. I mean the least they could do is wear a pair of fucking gloves! but anyway, this is India, hygiene is more like a taboo.
So true,......
I didn't knew so much hardwork is required
Not sure about level of hygiene
RivaRich
yes hygiene is important but you see.. not many people are aware of this, especially in india
+Angelina Caterina probably because.. who gives a fuck
ikr even i dont but im just saying lol
wow hard work. never know💖💖👍👍
But it's disgusting where they are making it! On the floor and they are walking in the same floor with shoes on 😖
Try making it on a kitchen counter and then you would probably understand why they are sitting on floor to make it.....even if they would have made it on a counter would have to sit over the counter to put so much of effort to stretch it.
Asmita Gupta
Well, I would not say it is disgusting since India has its own understanding of hygiene etc. Besides, it needs no effort to stuff the sweet into the tray. Or it least they could try doing it wearing some special shoes.... Anyways, I would try it even after watching that. Turks have similar sweet, it's called Pishmaniye - google it, they make it on a counter and have no problems
fayzullinak I googled that sweet pishmaniye and saw how they were making it with the help of mechanical hands.....what you see in this video is being made in some local sweet shop, they are professionals but not every sweet shop has mechanical systems......they are making it in very small quantities and machines are used for mass production.....big sweet companies and shops in India, where mass production is carried out, make them with machines.....its just about the size of the business and demand of the product in an area, this is a local shop, they don't need a machine. And as far as floor is considered, don't worry, sweet makers keep their floors clean and we Indians don't take our shoes where we cook food, be it on the counter or on the floor......yeah some confectionery shops are there who don't give a damn about cleanliness, but then when people see their filth they stop buying from them, after all no one wants to get ill.
fayzullinak yeah one of them is wearing black shoes, its wrong, its not allowed, shoes are not allowed in kitchens, its totally wrong on his part. As I said some confectioners don't care for the hygiene, but then those some don't represent the whole country. :-)
+Asmita Gupta nicely said! Wao
This is the hardest way to do this sweet, I thought it would be easy but not and we need good team working skills
