Awesome video, I saw your other video as well when you installed the Carli leveling kit and had some questions regarding you replacing the spring housing bucket. I also plan on installing a leveling kit and am going to replace the spring buckets on both sides and was wondering what hardware you used to install the new ones as well as if there are any other components I need to buy if I plan on replacing the spring buckets? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Grade 8 hardware, i can’t remember the size, but I believe it was 1/2in. I would consider getting the spring isolators that sit on top, the rubber was deteriorating on mine.
@@LeftLaneDiesels Thank you for the help bro, do you happen to know if the insulators for both sides are the same? The insulators I found seem to have the same part numbers for both sides.
This would let you adjust your castor back into spec but you'll still have a very steep bar angle which will cause a rough ride because your front axle has to push forward to cycle up. So everytime you hit a bump your front axle will want to push back on the truck/suspension.
I have slowly been collecting parts to begin the process of putting the engine together. It’s been an expensive ordeal. @@cadenn.2074 yes I believe they are the same
Jw if I did this on my lifted truck could I get rid of the stupid drop brackets
Yes! But depending on how sharp the angles of the bars are, it may be advantageous to use the drop brackets for better articulation of the axle.
