Hey Kieran, In TF2, Theres things called "Subclass" which changes the playstyle of a certain class.
For example, The demoman can be changed to demoknight with using a shield and a melee as it's main weapons.

WM1: It's the short version of using the 'M' key on the keyboard (moving forward) combined with M(ouse button) 1 (shooting primary weapon ) to an excessive amount; You know, it's the same thing as the "Leroy Jenkins Strategy." You might also see it expressed as "W+M1."

As a side note these animations were made by one guy, so the first Couple of animation might look a bit iffy
While not exactly a series, there's a good batch of channels making 10 stages to TF2 mains.
And DougDoug makes a good comparison of TF2 vs Overwatch, but explained with food. He does the same for other games too.

Scorch shot:
Explodes when hitting a wall, bounces off players after dealing damage and then explodes when it hits a wall (Can hit a single foe twice. Why? Who knows. Even as a pyro main that's a bit too much, it shouldn't be able to hit the same target TWICE with the same shot)

Minicrits burning targets
Can be used to lightly increase your jumps due to it's explosion
Detonator:
Major jumping weapon. Scorch Shot is more of an offensive tool but the detonator is for yeeting yourself.
It can also be used as a ranged option and can be detonated like the Scorch shot but manually.
Can't hit the same target twice
I believe it does LESS damage than the Scorch Shot and more self damage on getting hit by the explosion
This thing needs a buff but I don't think the Scorch shot needs a major nerf, this one just needs to be objectively better
Minicrits burning targets (Honestly with the 15 or so damage it should crit targets. It might be 20 as well idk... but iirc it's 15)
Flare gun:
No explosion
When used at the right angle against the right walls you can blast jump with it somehow bc of hitbox shenanaginry

I honestly love the Flare gun. I'll use Scorch Shot as a combo starter for the Dragon's Fury Flamethrower and I'll use it with Phlog to charge up the meter, and of snipers are being normal snipers, *they will suffer.*

I'm gonna go on a tangent real quick:
I love random crits.
I liked the experiment where random crits were SHOWN to you, where you KNOW your next shot or swing will be a random crit because your weapon would glow the team color.
I can respect melee crits, I can respect random crits, I can respect Jarate Bushwacka, I can respect Huntsman crits, I can respect projectile crits, I can respect minigun crits, shotgun crits, pistol, everything
Just not Sniper Rifle crits
Unless it's the Classic
But taking 150 damage from literally Mars because you decided the objective was worth playing is not fun. At least give me a chance or have a downside besides movement speed, PLEASE.
Make Snipers take minicrits while aimed (Not with Huntsman or Classic tho, those two are fine. All these downsides can be denied for these two also maybe the Jarate rifle), decrease ammo to 10, and/or decrease damage with range (like Crusader's Crossbow obviously. Reverse falloff)
Fun fact: at the end of the video, you and another guy said that lazy deserves a trophy, well thankfully valve likes to recognize the works of some people who do amazing things in source film maker and they recieve a Saxxy award which is only granted by valve's discretion so its very prestigeous to have, which Lazy does! It's an in-game melee weapon which turns anybody you kill into a golden statue.

So if you haven’t been filled in already: WM-1ing is holding W (forward) and Mouse-1 (fire) at the same time. So basically, running straight at the enemy while firing in their general direction.
Pyro, Mei and Reinhardt all WM-1, but Pyro in particular is infamous for it because between janky fire particles and afterburn, it was often easy to WM-1 half a team to death, and a lot of Pyros never evolved brain functionality past this point as a result.
The was a relatively recent Pyro update though, which fixed the flame particles, reduced afterburn and added a bunch of weaponry for Pyro, so WM-1 is a little overexposed for how useful it actually is nowadays.
