I have really much respect for how good they are etc. But it still isn't normal how they make all these kids so flexible!
It isn’t normal but it’s the regular for gymnasts. They need to be flexible in order to perform the difficult body elements. Although I’m a ballet dancer I’m still trying to stretch like they do and my oversplits has gotten way deeper :)
If you're talking about the videos of Russian coaches stretching their child athletes to the point of screaming and crying, yeah it's not good. But not all countries do that! Lots of children gravitate towards RG on their own because they are already naturally flexible
I don't see how you could get that flexible without some real pain initially. But as they say no pain, no gain....

Rhythmic gymnasts are so beautiful. They are very lean and slim, yet toned too. They are so feminine, I wish I looked like that.

They hardly eat and are constantly on diets, be happy they way you look
Sara Romeo I see you are a rhythmic gymnast too? Not everyone is on a diet but we do train for 5 hrs a day 5 days a week, and the elites train more

Sara Romeo im a rhythmic gymnast too, my trainer told me to only eat fruit in the morning and lunch and dinner only salads with cucumber and tomatoes. she told me i cant eat any sugar or gluten. a lot of gymnasts have a unhealthy and too low bmi. this can have a serious impact on their health

@@lancejiverson9311 her body and her bones were getting way to bad, that’s what rhythmic gymnastics does to u..that’s why the extended the age for RG to be able to go to olympics at 16 because it’s not common to see a RG be able to make it bad 26
