Finally you got famous lahore breakfast HALWA POORI 😋😋😋😋 Poori is thin bread, bite of poori is eaten with sweet halwa, and also with 2 kinds of curry of chickpeas (channa) and aalu bhujia (potato curry) and also spice it up with pickles. So it's a combination of sweet and salty and sour 😋😋😋 and on top lassi as a drink of yougurt And Chai (black tea with milk and sugar) is our national caffeine drink which we prefer over coffee and you will find it everywhere street restaurant home. So enjoy it as much as you can 😊

Hi Phil, 😂I’m so sorry to see that you’re struggling to find vegetarian food in Pakistan. We are a meat eating country and it can be a bit tricky, people don’t get it when you tell them that you’re vegetarian. Keep up the great work, loving your videos ❤ from Lancashire, UK
Pakistan has always been heavy on meats. Our vegetarian cuisine never developed because a meal in not complete without proteins. Muhammadi nihari is known for Nihari which is kind of a beef stew which is the most delicious food in Pakistan and there are better Halwa poori places in Lahore. The hotel staff also have to do their sehri and it’s better to leave a bit early so they have time to eat before the end of sehri time. One last thing it’s better not to mix Lassi and Tea at the same time because it can mess your stomach bad.

Halwa - you ate was of semolina pudding Puri (literal meaning complete so you could say something that can get you full ) made up of dough and deep fried Chana - chick pea curry. Potato (Alu in urdu) Curry doesnt usually have a name but you could say " Alu wala salan" or potato curry that would do. Also you can translate any curry as Salan.

Phil I just finished my sehri for the Roza on 6th April - Thursday. I am little sick for a few days and was hardly eating Sehri for last 2 days. But this night I watched some of your food videos which really motivated me to have paratha and tea 😊. Though the paratha is not desi one. As I'm in England so, I have some ready to cook parathas which are easily available in Pakistani/Indian/ Bangladeshi grossary stores. Enjoy your time in Pakistan
Love to see you in Pakistan but attention ⚠ there are mobile snatchers at night who come suddenly in your path on motorcycle and they snatch your phone on gun point so be careful when you walk around alone.. you should take ober ride or some safe car ride..

Hey Phil! Good to see you're having great time here in Pakistan. Too bad you don't eat meat because Pakistan is a heaven for meat lovers. We don't have a great variety of veg foods but there are quite few. For example i would recommend you try Palak paneer with cheese naan at spice bazar restaurant in gulberg (MM Alam road) Lahore. Their Khatti daal with khamiri roti is also pretty good. Enjoy your time Phil and happy fasting!!😊 😊😊
