Fascinating is the perfect word! It does have a beautiful combination feel of scuba diving and an ocean arial view, one of my all time favorites! (and I'm really critical lol) I did have a cringe going after phase 1... but a big sigh of relief when you called it! Then the anticipation and suspense of.....Can she save this?!!! Not just a save, but a HOME RUN! Yay! I do like how you left some of the original pour, the busyness of it actually created a nice contrast, and in itself became a negative space. Beautiful work!
I watch videos, get inspired and head to my basement...too lazy to go upstairs and change clothes! It throws off my groove! Aprons help, which I keep in my art area. This turned out great!
Teal!!!!! Woooooohooooooo!!! You do such a great job...seriously! Especially seeing you fix it when you right away realized you didn't like it, and got something amazing out of it!! So when it's on it's side, with all the beautiful effects, can't believe how many close up, it's almost like the inside of a geode...and then when you showed it where the top would be the white part...love that...it's almost like a side view through waves in the ocean, splashing out in the white, then inside the wave, then down into the deep :) Very cool!!! Thanks a ton!!!! :)🥰
Yes I remember you had asked for teal! :) you weren't the only one it's a popular color. Your description was spot on I see it the same way as you!! Its so deep down ocean viby I love it and so glad you like it too Jade 😊

This is so stunning and teal is a great choice with black & white! So much to see here, I could look at it for hours. So I have to mention, I have a "Be Strong & Back Away" tee shirt that is dedicated to painting, because I am so messy. Amazingly, it has no paint on it yet! But I just ordered another; the sentiment really does fit many experiences. I think I'll wear it to the grocery store to encourage social distancing! LOL!

I would have never ever attempted to try this if not for your "simple is best" series/motto. I hope you know how you inspire people - you truly do!! You are an intuitive painter and I strive for that. I wish I was able to paint right now.... my health situation has kept me from it and I ACHE to be in my art room. Videos like yours keep me going and pushing through. I may not comment often, sometimes I just put videos on autoplay and watch while I'm getting my infusions. But you knew exactly what would fix it and it is even better than I thought it could be!! Michael's should give you a commission for all the paint they will sell now! I think I bought the same high priced Artists Loft paint set you did. They work great with one another. Not so much with other brands as you found out. I really enjoyed watching this creation. I was watching your progress and thinking just like you, until you decided to add some puddles to fix it up. Good on you. I would have scrapped it and started over. That is why you are the creative pro you are.

Me too, lol I have a whole bunch of T-shirts that I painted on and they clean because I washed them on saying to myself I’m going to use these for my paintings. But I forget and I Always end up painting on a new one. Lol
