During his quest to prove himself worthy of being Bangoo's father, by finding Soul Edge, Rock travels across the Alps and runs into Astaroth. The golem had been hunting the 'White Giant', a being that he was modelled after, but upon discovering that the powerful being was a mere human Astaroth became furious. The two battled high in the mountains until Astaroth was victorious, almost felling Rock. To escape his fate, Rock jumped off the mountains and landed in a hot spring where he healed. After realising that this 'Black Giant' was modelled after him, even using the same fighting style, Rock knew he had to destroy the cruel imitation. After learning that Astaroth was working under Nightmare in Ostrheinsburg, Rock knew his destination.
Stage 1: The Gathering (These bandits are from the same mysterious organisation as Miser (5) and Greed (4) and also have respective numbers)
-Gargantua (Number 2)
-Dverger (Number 3)
-Shark (Number 7)
-Picks (Number 9)
Stage 2: Black Giant
-Helmwige (Wolfkrone soldier who was defeated and malfested by Astaroth)
-Rossweisse (Wolfkrone soldier who was defeated and malfested by Astaroth)
-Astaroth (Servant of Soul Edge trying to steal it for himself. The 'Black Giant')
Stage 3: Cult's Vanguard (Bonus Character)
-Ashlotte (A mechanical doll created to hunt down Astaroth and return his core to the remnants of Fygul Cestemus)
Stage 4: Roar
-Sophitia (Cassandra's sister. Forced to protect Soul Edge so her daughter Pyrrha won't die)
-Nightmare (The Wielder of Soul Edge)
Stage 5: Algol
-Algol (Wielder of the power of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur)
Rock is accompanied by Cassandra.
The ending should fade to black and then show the text but for some reason, it doesn't. It can be interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes though
