- Hello friends! I was finally able to test out my GoPro underwater. My wife and I went to Lake Pleasant here in Arizona so I could get a few more dives in before our trip to Greece. The water was a lot warmer than in February, but the visibility was pretty poor. But I guess that's the trade off!
I'm still learning, so I was struggling some with my buoyancy. At one point I had it pretty dialed in. It's so much fun being under water just floating around weightless! If you've been thinking about it I highly recommend it!

Poor visibility, why is that?
The water’s not clear
When the water warms up the algae starts to bloom, and that’s why it’s so green. At deeper depths the algae can’t grow so it stays clear. But it’s much colder!
@@NateLawsonThat I know, just, it is the temperature that sets off the bloom, and I never knew the temperature can reach that high for algea this early. The inland waterways and lakes in NL and Germany rarely reach temperatures above 25⁰C. Oh and when they do, swimming water will be closed of and bathing is prohibited because of blue algea
