Me to I used to go over on the ferry from hull then my boyfriend who was a crane driver sometimes worked over there and we used to drive back Round to Kingston upon hull I did it nearly every wknd l. If u went down stairs on the ferry, there was a saloon with a bar and the port holes showed under the humber was brilliant I just loved it. Oooh the smell of the humber I will always remember it. Those were my best years I'm 76 now and knackered. Do thank you so much for taking me back xxx Heather 💐
Oh yes my neighbour was brilliant he was in charge of the boiler room I always got privileged view down there Mr. Woodger made me feel so special bless him xx Heather
