Dementia…Life Goes On

The video is a coproduction between Alzheimer’s Society Creative Brand Engagement team, Wakefield Dementia Support Services and Voices Together( Wakefield Dementia Voice Group) members. The idea evolved from conversations in the group, followed by focus group and planning discussions.
Voices Together members wanted people going through dementia diagnosis to understand receiving a dementia diagnosis is not end of life, helping them to adjust to the new life.
They also made this video for professionals and public to understand the challenge of receiving a life changing diagnosis.

Having dymensia myself I understand, life goes on though others will get frustrated as well as ourselves asking questions over and over forgetting things from 5 minutes ago. Life does go on try and get the best out of what you have left, try and stay positive 😊❤

My dad's got Vascular Dementia & mixed Alzheimers he's changed so so much its heartbreaking to see I've moved in with my dad to care for him with my husband n daughter since we lost my mam last year it's such a horrible illness changes loved ones so much 💔
