Figured I'd ride some cement transitions in hope to make the lifestyle transition from trip life to normal life. Australia was amazing, but the jet lag wasn't.
Dan I arleady said it but have to remind You that You are the best at what You are doing. Riding, editing, talking everything feels so smooth, chilled out, relaxing. Im enjoying Your content the most out of other UA-camrs (trust me, watching a lot of them) and im 100% sure its not only me. Keep up amazing work and never stop making these. Greets from Poland ! 🚲
Not only was the quality of the content surperb, the riding itself really stood out for me in this one! The table at the end.. Ridiculous. Keep up the good work man!
Thanks! Yeah the laces are my go to. Just tie two in there, one on each side, so the bearings don't pop out at all and you're good to go. Keeps the bearing safe in the frame, and you can re-use the laces forever. The weather was so good that day! 75 and sunny. Then it snowed this morning. Gotta love the east coast.
haha Your socks, not bad! That was a cool edit! Welcome back home! Always enjoy watching your riding from your angle. We learn just going with your flow. That invert is a mystery to me, would love to learn how you do those. Ever heard of Qatar? Im a South African rider working there. So yeah, from Iggy's comment, you git fans all over the world! Looking fwd to your next upload! :D
Haha! I love those socks. It actually says "not sad" with a smiley face. Cult makes some rad ones. Inverts are a hard one to explain. Focus on curling your wrist under the bars, pushing your bike over, and staying loose with the rest of your body. I actually did a how-to invert a little while back for Ride BMX, so try searching their channel. I have heard of Qatar. Blows my mind you're watching these videos that far away! Thanks for the support.
Only a little bit. I really like to listen to albums when I drive to focus on them and I haven't done much of that lately. I did like what I heard though. They've been a favorite of mine forever and easily one of the best live shows I've seen in a long time.
Dan, Another nice video so chill, amazing riding, very nice Camera angles and editing, one major question I need help with airing coping, when you air do you hit both tires on coping or only back, and what do you recommend for coping that is kinda popped out a bit, if you want to see me attempting to air lmk I have a video that I made for this contest but yeah. thanks
Thank you. You definitely want to hit both wheels on the coping. This will make sure you get everything you can out of the transition of the ramp, and the bonk of the coping. It will keep the air more consistent too. As for coping that sticks out a lot, that's kinda tough and takes some getting used to. Usually the more coping sticks out, the less you want to pull off of it. You may need to actually push through it a bit and pretend to push your wheels out over the deck depending on how steep the quarter is too. Sometimes if its really bad, it will be super hard to bonk your back wheel out of it and you may only feel your front wheel hit. Just don't let it bonk you to flat. It's hard to explain since every quarter is different. Just try to work on airs on all kinds of different quarters and you will learn to adapt.
Hey dude, what size tyres do you run? You should do a how to air video as well that would be rad! Your fakir manual explanation was really good! Helped mine a lot
Dan Foley I recently changed from éclat predator tyres to run demolition momentums. The rear is 2.2 and front is 2.35 is it smoother for airing to have a bigger tyre on the rear? Anytime man! You're a top dude! Always looking out for the riders. Keen for that air video man you do you though man I'll watch regardless. Take care man
Thanks! I don't think it really makes a difference for airs. I just like to run the same size front and back so my bike rolls evenly. I used to run a bigger one up front and it didn't really change anything.
Dan Foley yeah sweet I was running the same it's good. I found I could control the back wheel stuff easier with the 2.2 on the rear. Good thing about bmx individuals have their preference! Anyway thanks for the chat man! Really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Hope to see you in Brisbane one day!
Yeah man. Used to do that for manual stuff, but didn't like how the different sizes threw off the whole geometry of the bike. Sometimes wonder if 2.35 is too much, but it still feels fine for the most part.
Thanks! I use Logic. I don't post it anywhere, although I'd like to get more into it. Right now I just make tiny segments of music that are just enough to accompany the video. I'd love to get the hang of making full songs though.
That's just the way that feels regular for me. Been trying to figure out the other way forever. Can get them flyout every now and then, but they still feel so weird! Goofy footed ones feels right though.
fuck yeah... that's the dude right there... I'm behind my friends in riding tricks experience.. but IDC I love and have fun doing my freestyle runs around the park../ street sittings u was up against big dog's... fuck a hater, keep doing u... bless up.................. -_humbleandstoned on instagram
I've only listened to it once all the way through, so I couldn't give you a for sure answer on that. Definitely several songs that I really like though. You?
It's actually a mouth piece mount. It's called the Pro Standard Grill Mount. Looks ridiculous, but works better and is easier to use than the chest mount.
Dan Foley thanks been trying to figure it out I have a chest mount but can't get a good angle but I'm out anyways with a broken foot for the next 3 weeks at least but your vids keep me stoked for riding👍
Haha. It did. It's not that it moves when I ride, it's that I always think I have it adjusted straight first try when I build my bike, then I ride and realize it's been crooked the whole time.
Sorry about that. Been shooting everything lately at 24 fps and starting to think it may not be best for some of the faster moving stuff. I see now that the POV footage especially is pretty choppy.
Dan I arleady said it but have to remind You that You are the best at what You are doing. Riding, editing, talking everything feels so smooth, chilled out, relaxing. Thank you so much man. That means a lot to read.
So good, as per usual. Looking forward to the next!
So good! Keep up the good work. Your channel is becoming one of my favs to watch!
You're vidéos are motivating so much, thanks for what you do for bmx !
Cheers man! It means a ton.
Not only was the quality of the content surperb, the riding itself really stood out for me in this one! The table at the end.. Ridiculous. Keep up the good work man!
Thank you!
so inspiring! keep up the hard work, filming those videos! #styleisforever
Thanks!
Really enjoying the content, angles, riding, editing, and narration of these videos.
Thanks!
Bowl rider fan. Thanks 4 posting.
Not sure what flows smoother in that Pov section, you, or the music. Both soo good!
Cheers man!
enjoying these a lot dude keep it up
Nice edit Dan! your videos are really good to watch! cheers mate, from a french rider in Vietnam.
Crazy you're watching this all the way in Vietnam. Cheers man!
The laces in the headset bearing is a good idea I'm going to steal that from you! Really good vid as always the weather looked fucking mint 👍🏼
Thanks! Yeah the laces are my go to. Just tie two in there, one on each side, so the bearings don't pop out at all and you're good to go. Keeps the bearing safe in the frame, and you can re-use the laces forever. The weather was so good that day! 75 and sunny. Then it snowed this morning. Gotta love the east coast.
dan mate, youve got such a smooth creative riding and editing style, realy relaxing.
Thank you!
more elegant films. love it.
Thanks!

Sweet! Will do 😁👍🏻
Still one of my favorite riders and vlogger. Your style is soooo smoooth! Dan Flowey all the way!
Cheers dude! Much appreciated.
Awesome loooking park not to big but seems like a blast to blast !!!!
that invert to foot jam thing was slick
Can't wait to get more comfortable with airing quarters, it looks so fun just to flow on them like you do,
I agree, Dan's so smooth. Keep these edit's coming Dan!
Thanks guys! Keep airing as much as you can. You'll figure it out soon enough. It's a great feeling.
That park looks so fun
tire slides are seemingly impossible for me. the highlight shot of the tire slide was great!!!
Thanks! It's all about the lean and taking your weight off the back wheel so it can kind of float. Try leaning your bike a bit like a table too.
This stuff is what I want!!! Bring back Dan!!!!!!
table to foot-jam is sick!!!!
Thanks! Been a while since I had done one. Kind of a pain in the ass to do, but worth it.
ahahah!!! i think i never seen one of those!! cheers from Italy!!
Great video. Additional props for Minus the Bear. :)
Thanks! MTB has been a favorite of mine for years. You listen to the new stuff yet?
Only a little bit. I really like to listen to albums when I drive to focus on them and I haven't done much of that lately. I did like what I heard though. They've been a favorite of mine forever and easily one of the best live shows I've seen in a long time.
love your vids mate.. keep them up.
Iain Mcfly HEY MCFLY!!!

Dan Foley no problems mate. I just love how polished your bmx vlog is.

Hey dude, what size tyres do you run? You should do a how to air video as well that would be rad! Your fakir manual explanation was really good! Helped mine a lot
Thanks man! Glad it helped. How to air would be a good one. I'll definitely keep it in mind. I'm running 2.35" Cult Dehart tires.
Dan Foley I recently changed from éclat predator tyres to run demolition momentums. The rear is 2.2 and front is 2.35 is it smoother for airing to have a bigger tyre on the rear? Anytime man! makes me ride more lol
I love riding to minus the bear ...you should listen to band of horses they have a similar feel
Awesome video, once again.. What helmet do you wear?
Thank you. I have a Fuse helmet.
Dan Foley just fuse? Searched it up and there are a few different helmets with different names
I'm not sure which model to be honest. I think they mostly have the same fit.
Twinning tires
Hey Dan, quick question. Any reason you always seem to do opposite tailwhips over regular?
That's just the way that feels regular for me. Been trying to figure out the other way forever. Can get them flyout every now and then, but they still feel so weird! Goofy footed ones feels right though.
Where is this park at? Looks fun.
Is this park in or around apex nc? Anyone know of a skate park around sanford or pinehurst nc?
fuck yeah... that's the dude right there... I'm behind my friends in riding tricks experience.. but IDC I love and have fun doing my freestyle runs around the park../ street sittings
u was up against big dog's... fuck a hater, keep doing u... bless up..................

Having fun is all that matters man! Thanks.
How do you like that new Minus the Bear album?
I've only listened to it once all the way through, so I couldn't give you a for sure answer on that. Definitely several songs that I really like though. You?
Which tripod do you use for your iphone
style for miles
are you using the chest mount for the GoPro footy
It's actually a mouth piece mount. It's called the Pro Standard Grill Mount. Looks ridiculous, but works better and is easier to use than the chest mount.
Dan Foley thanks been trying to figure it out I have a chest mount but can't get a good angle but I'm out anyways with a broken foot for the next 3 weeks at least but your vids keep me stoked for riding👍
Hey, let's cross the sea and get some culture!
I ride the same park, marshcreek.. everytime i go i get kicked out for bmx...
Yeah I've been kicked out of there before. Everyone has been super cool there lately though.
Dan Foley Im going today around 2pm hopefully i dont get kicked out
Is this around apex nc?
"NOT BAD," but I need to know, did your stem stay straight???
Haha. It did. It's not that it moves when I ride, it's that I always think I have it adjusted straight first try when I build my bike, then I ride and realize it's been crooked the whole time.
flickering camera hurts my eyes
Sorry about that. Been shooting everything lately at 24 fps and starting to think it may not be best for some of the faster moving stuff. I see now that the POV footage especially is pretty choppy.
The TSA didn't pay for damaging your bag ? wtf ???
