This song has been on my setlist for the past 40 years and I play it at just about every gig. Yos stayed true to Lowell George and Little Feat yet made it your own. Awesome job.
This is by far the best cover of this song, better than Tom Petty's and The Black Crowe's versions, which are both AWESOME. Mr. Keyboard Player, you are da MAN! Your solos are so incredibly tasteful, yet simple at the same time, with enough space between the notes to really make your melodies shine. You've got a new fan and subscriber 🙂.
Hell yeah. My son saw Little Feat in Nashville the day before yesterday at the Ryman Auditorium and when he told me about it I immediately thought of this song... so I've been sitting here all day listening to EVERY version on UA-cam and i'm telling you this one has them all beat. Well, I'm kind of partial to Linda Ronstadt's version but man you guys nailed it. Worst version I've heard is Tom Petty. The guitar player wails on it but I think Tom was in the depths of a bad addiction at this time, it's kind of sad.
Lowell George would’ve been very proud of you guys ! I got to see little feet in the early days back and 71 may be 72 at the Prince George’s County community College in Maryland. Bonnie Raitt played with them also add a free concert.
Nailed it. Best cover of Willin on UA-cam. Hands down. Keyboard player studied Bill Payne hard and it shows.

Sucky name ‘The Pullouts’, if yer not in the mood for the sophomoric … but a seriously righteous cover right here.
It's an anti-war statement! Get your mind out of the gutter!
@@moonranchentertainment3286 oops!
