Pau has the soul of a frontwoman. And it was not easy for Arejay to play a drum set adapted to the size of Pau, which is like half of Arejay.😂

@@richardreinhofer3765 No, I was sitting in the balcony and you couldn't hear Pau at all until the sound guy turned her mic up.
You can see that she is signalling that the mic is not good (1:21). In another video I saw she signals again (in this one she is out of the frame) and at that point you can hear her. But, yes, somebody was not paying attention.
I loved seeing Ale run to Dany's mic and have to bend down to sing into it!

Arejay have always been an very active part in the Halestorm shows, he often have his own segment were the rest of the band leave the stage.
@@westmus - Otherwise known as a drum solo. Unless Arejay plays the keyboards. When Dany & Ale leaves the stage with Pau left for a segment. Pau would play the keyboards & sing a song.
@@kevinthetruckdriver353 , it's usually not just an ordinary drum solo, but incorporate different gimicks and getting the crowd singing along. Arejay have always been a showman. As a teenager he had an mobil rotating drumkit so he could play upside down. There old videos of that kit in action on YT. Also videos showing him at like 13 play live on a huge setup with all kinds of stuff. It videos from before Lzzy learned to play guitar, she perform with an Keytar instead and their dad was part of the band.

Anyone else pick up on the fact that Ale's mic is kept very low in the live mix? If I was hearing correctly, Pau really had to put a lot of energy into her volume control. It could be that Ale's amp creates a lot of feedback. Could be that during soundcheck that was the level that was considered good. Whatever the case, the sisters' harmonies are world class and they have an overall amazing live sound. That, to me, is the hallmark of a great band. Musically tight with brilliant lyrics- The Warning are not only a class act, but one of the best bands in rock history.
I noticed every time Pau steps out in front and does a song you can just about hear her. Ales mic is never turned up enough for me can just about here her.

That. Was. Awesome. :):):) it's a Halestorm/Warning love fest on this tour! Brothers and sisters!! :) Brings a tear to the eye. He even did Pau's finger pointing, how cool is that!? They all must be having a blast. :)
This is amazing. Arejay would have had to learn Narcisista to play it as well as he did. On the technical side, just my guess, but the sound engineer would have to override the pre-programmed level and routing on Ale's mic channel to get it sufficiently loud into Pau's in-ear monitors and do it carefully (slowly) in real time in order to avoid hurting Pau's ears. The alternative is to have a preset for guest drummers or to carry around another channel of wireless microphone "just in case", which isn't cheap and would need to be sound-checked each show. I thought the lighting operator could have followed Pau, not just a light on AreJay.
Wouldn't the alternative be to simply use Pau's already mounted head mic? It would have already been setup or am I missing something? I miss stuff a lot. 🤣
@@RobertLindabury , you’re not wrong. But, Pau or somebody prefers the handheld mic. Possibly, her headworn mic might feed back, therefore be hard to make loud, at the front of the stage.

cool also because they played that without the backing tracks and click track .... which I personally love.... specially as Arejay speeds it up after teh intro a little bit... the energy just goes nuts (and I can just imagine it probably drove Ale nuts too, the human metronome)
Normally during guitar solos they have a quiet backing track of a rhythm guitar part Dany recorded before hand, so we rarely hear Ale's bass completely solo during an actual song (unless it's for effect, like in Disciple). Here in this performance live you are hearing the true power trio instrumentation.... which I actually prefer to the backing tracks... I love the sound of the raw bass and drums with a guitar soloing over top... leaves more room to hear everything, and with Ale as the bassist you do NOT need any backing tracks. I know why they do it... it does sound amazing with them... I just happen to prefer listening to them just play solo! :-)

lol wrong...Dany did not need rescuing as she had no mic duties after the solo. those mic duties belong to Ale and she almost forgot that she had to go to Dany's mic to perform them.

All Ale does is sing the part she always sings that she could not do on her own mic being used by Pau.
Dany stayed over in Ale's side so there was no traffic jam in the middle with Pau and Ale already there.
@@awadoma2702 I'm surprised about that. Dany has lead settings, rhythm settings, and other settings preset on her pedalboard and always has to change it before and after a solo.... so maybe they just said "forget it" and went with it. It's not like her guitar tone suffered, so it most likely would ahve been an added compressor or a subtle boost pedal that she turns on for the solo, and most of that stuff is lost in live audio anyway. Regardless... it doesn't look like Ale hit the pedalboard, that I can tell, and it rocked either way so ROCK ON WARNING!!

Estuvo epico, el hermano de Lzzy parece q odiaba la bateria de PAU, pues creí q la quería romper🤣🤣🤣.
Todo excelente, solo el volumen de el microfono de Pau q casi no se escucha, probablemente Pau con su mano mutea el mismo microfono o algo pasa porque en el Metropolitan se escuchaba igual.
Como sea, estuvo excelente.

@@lazarocardenas9675 El asunto está resuelto, todo parece q Pau usa el micrófono de Alejandra el cual está a medio tono y por eso se escucha bajo, a media canción le suben el volumen el técnico de sonido y es por esa razón.
Puedes checar como Alejandra va al micrófono de Dany a hacer coros justamente porque en su lugar no hay mucrofono.
Afortunadamente como se pudo ver en el live de Papafuerte parece q ya no tuvieron ese problema y aparentemente sonó normal
