I love how this MAP portrays Ashfur in a sympathetic light, yet somehow doesn’t. Like, he was in the wrong, but not in his eyes. Anyways the MAP was great! Amazing job capturing the emotion everyone

He was an absolute asshole to Greystripe in Greystripes vow, he was possessive over Squirrelflight in TNP and wanted to be her mate and pressed himself on her even though she was A a kittypet which he hated, B extremely vulnerable and C clearly was in love with Brambleclaw even if they were fighting. And then when she starts courting him he babies her as if shes out of the nursery for the very first time which she hates. Squirrelflight is extremely independamt and likes to be in charge and he wouldn't let that happen. So she broke up with him and went back to the cat she truly loved (according to canon). He then *decided to murder Firestar and help Hawkfrost kill the leader of his clan ALL BECAUSE SHE BROKE UP WITH HIM!* His actions not only caused Firestar to lose a life but also Hawkfrost to die and Brambleclaw to be extremely upset. Then when Squirrelflight 'had kits', which she is completely allowed to do, he attempts to *BURN THEM TO DEATH* IN FRONT OF HER! Then when its revealed they aren't her kits by Squirrelflight he threatens to tell everyone causing not only Squirrelflight anxiety and paranoia but also Leafpool, Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and Lionblaze. Then when Hollyleaf kills him (good job Hollyleaf, im so proud of you) he goes to StarClan SOMEHOW and then after a few years or so he decided "lmao, what if I possessed Bramblestar XD UwU" and then he does just that. By doing so he: Caused the death of multiple cats, nearly killed Sparkpelt with dogs, nearly murdered Shadowsight, created a ghost army, trapped cats in literal hell, punishing cats for doing nothing wrong and if they did do something wrong it was something tiny and not worth the punishment they got. Ashfur is a terrible terrible cat who caused people's deaths, manipulated people and was just a downright asshole. Case closed, have a great day/night
I love that you included Leafpool’s relationship with Squirrelflight and Bramblestar. It’s not just Ashfur. I love the inclusion of the kits, and you are on of my favorite animators. Your work on the “Open up Your Eyes” part is phenomenal. The truth is, this actually may be one of my favorite maps since it includes everyone's conflict very well. Bad joke time

This was really good! Everyoned parts flowed well and all the styles were so pretty! This is one of those maps that just... work? Idk how to explain it but like the styles flow together well, all the parts have the right vibes and everyone was so beyond talented! Well done!

I loved how you wove together so many character's parts in this storyline! Usually maps that deal with this plot line choose to focus on one or two characters, getting to see all sides of the story in this one made it feel so much more dynamic, and it really showed the combined stakes for each character. Everyone's parts turned out beautifully, too!
i have to give such big props for the direction of this and how every participant adapted it! the direction feels very purposeful to both the lyrics and being coherent - very effectively conveys the story paired with the lyrics and no part feels out of nowhere/confusing!!!!
Wow this is stunning! I really loved that not only Ashfur, Squirrelflight and Hollyleaf got screen time, but also Leafpool and Jayfeather. It really makes the map feel more complete and very unique :)
Okay okay okay I love this map holy- This is the only map that I've seen that explores the difference of perspective. It switches from leafpool, ashfur, squirelfight, hollyleaf, breezepelt, so fluidly that you can tell what's happening. Ashfurs perspective makes him seem so much more gentler and grief driven. Squirelflights perspective shows how conflicting it was to be caught between two toms she had feelings for but ultimately she chose brambleclaw. Then it switches to leafpool, struggling to stand aside while someone else raised her kits and she wasn't able to be a big roll in there life's other than being there aunt. Then breezepelt and his family and there's struggles. Then jayfeather, when he figures out who there parents are. I just adore the scene with jayfeather/hollyleaf where it shows how close they are. The fire scene is just a whole master piece (this whole map is but) In conclusion this map is so amazing and it's defiantly one of my favorites
Okay, I know someone else already commented about the emotion, but the way the facial expressions and body language is animated is really good, like how the eyebrows are narrowed, or the eyes are looking to the side with a bit of an angle indicating sadness.

WOW this is absolutely stunning!!! always love maps with a lot of lipsync and character acting. i ADORE how well the tension builds as the song gets more intense during the fire scene, that was incredible to watch. everyone did a wonderful job, it's easy to read what is going on in each part and they flow together perfectly!! not to mention all the artists who participated are extremely talented. overall, very gorgeous map with a wonderful concept!! definitely will be rewatching this one plenty of times in the future

I know maps tend to have lip syncs a lot, but I just can not get over the amazing lip sync you all did! It just really stood out and looks amazing! The pure emotional mess that comes from every cat whenever The Truth is shown was so well done! Just the emotions through this whole this was great! Amazing map! Easily one of my favorites!
