- In the men’s competition, it’s Troy Jackson, a gymnastics coach from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania vs. Wesley Berry, a karate instructor from Duarte, California. In the women’s round, it’s Kimberly Tyler, an aerospace physiologist from Bellville, Ohio against Peggy Odita, a sales manager from Redwood City, California.

Powerball: Contenders try to score points by depositing balls into baskets and avoid being tackled by three Gladiators.
Swingshot: The contenders bounce with bungee cords to try and retrieve colored balls for points, while the Gladiators try to disrupt them.
Sky Track: The contenders and a Gladiator race around an inverted track, using velcro attached to their hands and feet.
Assault: The contender must attempt to hit a target while a Gladiator shoots at them using a tennis ball cannon.
Pyramid: Contenders have 45 seconds to reach the top of a pyramid, with two Gladiators blocking their path.
Hang Tough: The Gladiator and contender swing across hanging gymnastics rings, with the contender trying to make it to the opposite platform without the Gladiator forcing them off.
Gauntlet: The contender needs to run through a half-pipe, with five Gladiators trying to stop them using handheld pads.
The Eliminator: The Eliminator is an obstacle course spanning the arena, the winner of which advances to the next round of the competition.

Welcome to the official channel of American Gladiators, home of patriotic spandex and giant cotton swabs.
Beginning in 1989 for 8 seasons, this competition swept America. Two men and two women compete against each other and a roster of "American Gladiators". Events included, The Assault, Joust, The Wall, Breakthrough and Conquer, Hang Tough, Powerball, and many others, all culminating in the final event, "The Eliminator", a difficult obstacle course race. Every season there is a tournament to determine its "Grand Champion". For two seasons, there was an "International" competition taped in England where the champions from 4-6 countries competed similarly.

I believe it’s safe to say that of all the seasons of AG, this was one of the Best Seasons Ever. Not only because of the Gladiators & Competition, but because of the simple reasons for the huge makeover, and 4 new events, especially Pyramid & Gauntlet, that made it much more exciting than ever before. This was definitely a season to remember.
Seasons 2, 3 and 5 were the best period. And those seasons had the *best contenders ever* up to that point- Rico Costantino, Maria Nichting, Esther Ratner, Dorann Cumberbatch, Deena Telley, Nina Akai, Craig Branham, Cinda Mentzer, Mark Ortega, Joey 'Bam Bam' Mauro, Coz 'The Battlekat' Worthington, Kathy Mollica, Susie Stencil, Darrell Gholar and Kimberly Lentz and Odita and Scoops. 1 and 4 weren't too bad, but when you think about, those were the best years of the show.

2:36 Scoops was like an unlockable secret character in a video game with his inhuman speed and attributes!!!!!

This shows tonight that they all put their hearts and souls into Gladiator Arena.
One of the best grand championsips ever on American Gladiators. Kimberly gave it her all, but Peggy was the better one, and that's how she won. Troy and Wesley were both awesome and they showed a lot of bravery while fighting back the pain. Troy represented Philadelphia real well, and "two scoops" was so outstanding with his percentages. Fantastic grand championship by four of the best contenders ever on American Gladiators.
Peggy Odita and Wesley Berry are fantastic contestants on the American Gladiators.
@andrewphillips2179 Peggy and 2 scoops both became international champions as well.(2 scoops in series 1 Kim was runner up to our Eunice Huthart
and Peggy + Pat Czismasia in series 2)

It’s a Miracle that nobody this season was Medically Removed from competition. Guess 2 Scoops wasn’t the only one who gave it 5000%, for everyone gave a huge percentage of themselves, especially Troy Jackson.

There's four episodes of season 5 are missing, they were the Armed Forces Challenge, the Gold Medal Challenge Of Champions 2, the International Challenge Of Champions 2 and the Gold Medal Challenge 2 edition episodes.
This is the last season for a first and second half season and tower
