While I do agree that its a little annoying that people with perfect skin do these, the click bait of the video is that they when to get a Riahnnah facial. And Rihanna has perfect skin as well.
I would love a video exploring the science and studies behind these technologies. I can’t get over the idea that they are just flashing lights at people and charging lots of money for it. Especially as there are at home machines and do they work also?
You can Google it. Lots of trained estheticians use these methods. You can buy machines that are similar to use at home but they are expensive and you might be better off going to a trained estheticians who knows how to use them. These types of facials are not always extremely expensive.
lol because when your famous and have money like that you get facials! why do you think literally almost every celebrity has flawless skin 😂 they get treatments to take care of it! I’d do the same if i had just 800 to spend on a damn facial 😂
Bettina Denning I have chronic back pain and have one of them. Called TENS units, it uses electric stimulation of the muscles to relax muscles that are in spasm. I always could feel the zapping, so her setting was probably low, too low to actually do anything. Maybe it stimulates heat in muscles? A warm towel could probably do as well. (Ultimately I stopped using it because the effect was temporary, a 20 minute plug in for relief lasting 5 minutes, then the pain was back. I also had a TENS treatment for my face for TMJ, with the same result)(I zapped myself pretty good once, and it was intense. I gave it up soon after, because the effects didn’t last, there were a limited amount of times I could treat myself, and I do not like to get electrocuted.)
Race Aguilar I have cystic acne, so I get LED light therapy, it genuinely works. I’ll go in with painful active cystic pimples and come out and they’re close to being gone in one session, if you get 2 a week they’ll stay away! I thought it was gimicky but then I did it and I was so impressed! It works better if you get them with microdermabrasion but is perfectly good on its own! I just got it done today and had a huge flare up after travelling and it’s gone down. It’s also been helping clear u scarring
Wat ch you can buy some fairly powerful at home devices. Joov is well known for red light but there’s more affordable options. You just want to get check that the device loads the nanometers.

This facial wasn’t worth it at all. No extractions? $800 for a massage and product application?! No way! If I were to get an expensive facial it would have to be one with radio frequency at least.

Red and blue light are backed by the FDA because of their efficacy. The light goes into the skin and turns on cells to stimulate collagen and healing receptors. The tool she was using that looks like two forks... it uses a light micro current to awaken the muscle under the skin and retrain the muscle. Yes both work. The electrodes do the same thing as the forked machine it’s just bigger pads. If you look at it like those old machines from the 50’s caused your face to jerk and contort from electric... same idea just less current and a better cycling on high and low current. It’s a workout for your muscles
