    • @jdsteppenzyde
      @jdsteppenzyde 5 років тому +43

      Bettina Denning I have chronic back pain and have one of them. Called TENS units, it uses electric stimulation of the muscles to relax muscles that are in spasm.
      I always could feel the zapping, so her setting was probably low, too low to actually do anything. Maybe it stimulates heat in muscles? A warm towel could probably do as well.
      (Ultimately I stopped using it because the effect was temporary, a 20 minute plug in for relief lasting 5 minutes, then the pain was back. I also had a TENS treatment for my face for TMJ, with the same result)(I zapped myself pretty good once, and it was intense. I gave it up soon after, because the effects didn’t last, there were a limited amount of times I could treat myself, and I do not like to get electrocuted.)

      Race Aguilar I have cystic acne, so I get LED light therapy, it genuinely works. I’ll go in with painful active cystic pimples and come out and they’re close to being gone in one session, if you get 2 a week they’ll stay away! I thought it was gimicky but then I did it and I was so impressed! It works better if you get them with microdermabrasion but is perfectly good on its own! I just got it done today and had a huge flare up after travelling and it’s gone down. It’s also been helping clear u scarring

      This facial wasn’t worth it at all. No extractions? $800 for a massage and product application?! No way! My face look just as bright when I get a regular facial, this is such a gimmick, it sells because it’s “celebrity approved” or whatever. If I were to get an expensive facial it would have to be one with radio frequency at least.

      Red and blue light are backed by the FDA because of their efficacy. The light goes into the skin and turns on cells to stimulate collagen and healing receptors. The tool she was using that looks like two forks... it uses a light micro current to awaken the muscle under the skin and retrain the muscle. Yes both work. The electrodes do the same thing as the forked machine it’s just bigger pads. If you look at it like those old machines from the 50’s caused your face to jerk and contort from electric... same idea just less current and a better cycling on high and low current. It’s a workout for your muscles

    Can I make a small suggestion? Can there be a warning at the beginning that the video contains flashing lights? I have epilepsy and I luckily knew what the machine was going to do so I had time to look away but it could have gone south very quickly🙏

    For $800 I should not have seen any blackheads on the sides of Mi's nose, but I did! Completely unacceptable!! I have gotten facials where the aesthetician has gone HAM on my pores extracting to the heavens. So much so my eyes were watering. There was no excuse for Mi leaving this over rated spa with clogged pores.

      Extractions can lead to inflammation and this facial is prep for red carpet events. Also, I personally don’t think those are blackheads. The “blackheads” look like sebaceous filaments, in my opinion.

    Bottles of hair dye
    Mac and cheese
    And to be able to have a free pass to sephora

    Those black pad are exactly like the tens unit, which are used by physical therapist, and I have one that I used it for many years. Terrible mistake to use it in your face, it damage nerves, bones, etc. And it happened to me. 🥺🥺🥺🥺 and never use it in your head.

    Seriously you use the largest font possible to introduce the products used in this kind of videos and your EPILEPSY WARNING is in the smallest font and it last for like 2 seconds.
    Whether you don’t have an idea what might happen if someone didn’t notice that warning or you truly don’t care. PLEASE use larger font. Please!

      Dude seriously? It was bright red it’s kind of hard to miss. Also I’ve literally never seen a video that even has an epilepsy warning? You could’ve been a lot more constructive and nicer about it.

    • @Marginallist
      @Marginallist 5 років тому +11

      Alexandra Seinvada you can skip it quite easily if you watch it on your phone. And yes they are (as anyone els) obligated to warn you about flash lights in the video. Using a larger font wont harm anyone except you perhaps.
