Check out the third string UM quarterback at 8:45 throwing the interception for a TD. Does he look familiar?

Even more irony. One of the announcers during a later season mentioned Brady had always told friends his first pass in Michigan Stadium would be a touchdown.
And I think Brady's first game action in the NFL came against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving 2000, he threw an interception returned 100 something yards for a TD as well.

Something else you notice right away, I've said all the last 2 years how spindly the Michigan running backs are now compared to those in the SEC or Wisconsin even. Check out the thighs on Chris Howard... power, breaks tackles.

Ya, I'm disappointed we won't eve get to see us play BCS schools outside of the Big10 teams, those were always exciting, we outta fire martin and get a new GM so we can start scheduling a REAL team for our non-conference schedule.
    Go Blue!

oh i know, dont get me wrong, McNown had an excellent career at UCLA and finished 4th for the Heisman in 1998
i was just trying to crack a little joke, ya know
btw, so i dont start to sound annoying on your channel's message board, do you have the 2001 Iowa game? Cato June had a big interception when iowa was up 26-21 and driving.
i recently read about it in my personal bible called "50 Years of College Football." loads of information packed in that book

With Martin scheduling teams like Delaware State and MAC schools for non-conference games, I doubt we'd ever see that.

Once Michigan becomes a powerhouse again,we'll see them play the BCS schools and kick their ass.Until then they have nowhere to go but up.

Holy shit I remember David Bowens,I think he had about 10 and a half sacks for the wolverines(I could be wrong)that season and then all of a sudden he transferred.

Lance Dottin, I have no information on him, sorry, Mercury Hayes, was taken 5th round 135th overall by the Saints, lasted two years, signed with the Falcons, lasted one year, signed with the Redskins to the practice squad, released, Signed with Barcelona Dragons in Europe, then released, now lives in Texas. Ricky Powers signed as a free agent by the Lions in 94, released played for the Browns, but released, now is the head football and baseball coach at Akron Buchtel High School his ALMA MATER!

IMO, Chris Howard and Clarence Williams were underrated, especially with their ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Howard had a couple of big games this particular season, this one and the finale against o$u. He was the only back in '96 to gain over 100 rushing yds against the bucks that year.
    #2 had a decent game ;)

He had a 72 yard TD run against Illinois that year, the first game of the season.
It was the second longest TD run by a UM quarterback. Steve Smith ran 75 yards for a TD against Minnesota in 1983.

True, I guess it's best to do this til the entire team gets some more game time, we are such a young team right now.
