they are 5 speed Andis. you can buy a 2 speed to start.

Wonderful videos! What is Cool Lube? I have a fearful dog and just ordered a trimmer so she and I can learn together how to trim her for the summer.

Cool Lube or Cool Care is too keep your blade cool while working on a dog or cat. its to spay the blade to keep it from burning the dog. I would take your dog to the groomers for a haircut if she is scare. I would tell him she is not a fan of grooming so they know what to expect.
