PFD FULL BOX RESPONSE - Box 392 11th & Arch Streets

3.5.13 Philadelphia Fire Department. Around 1:20 pm Box 392 was struck at 11th and Arch Streets in the city's Chinatown section. Engine 20 and Ladder 23 arrived on location with nothing showing from the exterior and the incoming companies were ordered to proceed in and stand by. Battalion 4 reported a small electrical fire in the roof area of the Reading Terminal Market and had the first in Engine and Ladder in service. Battalion 4 also requested the Fire Marshal to respond. The incident was placed under control in about 30 minutes. Seen responding are Snorkel 2, Medic 27 (responding to an unrelated incident at 1300 Percy St with Engine 2), Engine 234 (serving as Engine 11), Battalion 1, Engine 13, Engine 903 (serving as Engine 43) and Rescue 1. Engine 20 was using reserve Engine 110 and Ladder 23 was using spare Ladder 292.

A box response consists of 4 Engines, 2 Ladders and 2 Battalion Chiefs. Rescue 1 is added if the assignment is downtown. A Medic Unit can also be added if there is a report of people trapped or hurt inside the fire building.
