    Maam I always had confusion between these two ..no matter how many videos I have seen or searched in Google or skimmed many grammar books but still my confusion remained..After seeing your video..my concept is crystal clear..thanks a ton maam..best explanation ever...love u loads....hats off to u maam... I m.having shortage of words to thank u.. really can't thank u enough..The hindi translation or reference really helped tremendously. Best trick ever... youtubers keep saying like, share n subscribe ..After seeing your video immediately I did all the three.. people who r actually talented doesn't need to ask for fame ..they get famous for their work to do.. their work is the reflection of their real talent.

    Mam, In the sentence "Spreading misinformation is not good". What is "Spreading" acting as? Gerund or Present Participle?
    Gerund acts as Noun and can be the subject of the sentence but on the other hand Participle acts as an adjective which modifies Noun.
    Here "Spreading" is the subject as well as modifying the noun "misinformation"

    • @navieducation4068
      @navieducation4068  Рік тому +1

      Gerund acts as a subject and an object both.
      Here ... misinformation spread karna achcha nahi h ....this is the sense of this sentence..
      Spreading is used before noun but working as a gerund..

    Which verbs should be transformed into gerund?

    • @navieducation4068
      @navieducation4068  2 роки тому

      Any verb + ing can work as a gerund ...if it is functioning as a noun in the sentence....
      For example...
      He is walking in the middle of the road.(. Walking......as a main verb)
      Walking is a good exercise.( Walking....as a noun)...so this gerund.

    This trick is not applied in every example
    "It was a horrifying experience for all of us" isme "na" atta he lekin ye 'Participle' he...!

    • @navieducation4068
      @navieducation4068  2 роки тому

      Iska means h (darane vala experience)....
      experience ...noun ...ka adjective h......horrifying......
      experience ko modify kar raha so.... ....it is participle..
      There is no doubt in this fact.....
      Agar hota...... Horrifying is not a good deed.Than .,...
      Horrifying....is working as a noun so it is a gerund.
