Damian Priest has done a great job in turning people around to his reign, as much as I do want Gunther to win Priest will be in for success later down the line
Disagree with Blackz I think Cody’s reign has been good, feud and matches with AJ was top. Just slightly stagnated when he went back to feuding with Solo. Strange because in isolation I think the new bloodline has been good and I’m enjoying the Solo being a pretender gimmick but maybe the beat down angles have been a bit repetitive.
Shane McMahon isn’t this major business man, he’s too old to still be a decent wrestler. He could be an on screen figure but that might turn people off. He brings nothing other than being a McMahon.
U lot hit the nail on the head with aew, their tickets, ratings etc have all declined. Collision is a joke so yeah TK needs to find a way to evolve the business, not saying shane does that but he could help. But just some added points to why i think aew has a declined a bit. 1) when AEW launched, WWE was awful creatively, we some had b.s booking decision, saw low attendance in crowds etc. 2) Now wwe is in a better place and they produce good wrestling, which is aew's USP. Obviously AEW bell to bell is better but WWE are putting more athletic good matches. 3) With WWE in a better place, the general mass is going to pick wwe because of the name, superstars and brand etc. Also, commiting to watching raw, smackdown, dynamite as well as ppv can be hard to keep up. 4) Problem with AEW, all they have focused on lately is dream matches without stories, the show lacks consistency until recently with the build of all in. 5) AEW need to split the roster, stopping getting all these random CML and New japan wrestlers in their weekly show, save it for forbidden door. Also theres too many belts. 6) Need to remember, AEW pays wrestlers like they're wwe but they feel like indy wrestling on steroids but they need to find a way to becoming more sustainable. If anything happened to TK the company would go bust.
