I only started playing this a couple weeks ago, but I'm a young adult and the *AMBIENCE.* the *ATMOSPHERE.* It doesn't scare me, but it evokes a feeling I haven't felt anywhere else.
In the red carpet level at 43:00 you can actually squeeze a white ball beneath the red carpet extender and then throw it against the thing so it topples over. it saves you all the white gooballs :)
And in the last level of the 2nd chapter, you can use the ivy balls to throw the beauty and ugly balls to their bins. Not to mention that you actually only need two ugly balls for the beauty one to pass the spikes without dying
I like to think this to help me cope with leaving some behind, 1 the match ones aren’t alive, 2 the sign painter and the good that mad it to the end went to get the rest back and they all returned to the last level and lived in happiness. And when they pop they don’t die they just splatter. And now they all live on the new goo planet
I like thinking that burning is the way the match ones reproduce (some plants do this as well) i feel so sad for the green one that gets left behind whenever i do the trick to maximize the efficiency of the green levels
A bit late, but I find it kind of poetic that he couldn’t save all of the goos in Misty’s Long Bony Road, whilst he did save the most he can in the original misty episode, he couldn’t save all of them, even killing some in their dormant state, which means that because Misty’s “love” is dead, the goos are also bound to die, unlike the goos that are in Misty’s episode, which were all saved to the point of OCD
I'm from Poland. I remember 10 years ago when I accidentally saw this game in a program with games for younger people and asked my uncle to download it because it interested me a lot. I spent a lot of time with it and a few years later I downloaded it again twice. this production is amazing :D I hope that 2D Boy will create another part, but not in 2D but in 3D
Man the memories… I remember playing this like 7 years ago in my aunts house with my cousins on the Wii, I almost cried when I found this game again, the memories and the nostalgia hit me very hard, something about the art style and the music is just… special. When I got OCD on ode to the bridge builder, I actually started out building upwards and kept thwacking at the structure to keep it upright. Then when I got near the camera boundary I just let it fall to the other side. I used very few supports.
Fuck world of goo. Scariest video game sound track ever. I played it ONCE as a child and the ost haunts me to this day. When I’m alone I hear it in my head and it makes me paranoid. Then again, my house is haunted so that could also be why. Still, this is the music that plays in my head when I’m scared.
God I hated Tumbler, I hate how if I were to try to get the goo in there and the structure would fall over, so I had to redo the structure over and over again, it frustrated me as a child! 😡

@@eclipse0073 i mean you have to build it right against the windmill base and then take a raindrop and move it over the top of the windmill on to the other side and then put it against the other side of the base of the windmill and it will attach

I have almost everything OCD on phone... but beacuse of the touch controlls time based ocds are impossible + its harder to aim your goo to build as long as possible with low resources.

Gonna say chapter 4 levels 1 and 2, level one because getting that in under 9 seconds is practically impossible and 2 is pure luck
I was unable to beat Horizontal Comittee the "regular" way, so I just use the OCD method every time.
