don't get discouraged , you're racing with the best in the world and making southern Oregon proud . go man go !!
Keep digging my Oregon buddy... Love it that Carly is going on this adventure with you. She is your ace in the hole....
I grew up in the 60s and 70s going to that track back when the old wooden stands still stood, yet I was there in the early 2000s when two of my cousins raced there. Got to see them win a feature. Another cousin used to be the tech inspector. Many good racers have come out of that area. It was either Hickory Speedway (closed), Mercer, Sharon, Lernersville, or Speedway 7 to decide where to go on any given weekend.
Awesome run. It's very hard to determine where to run when the track is in that condition. Never the less great job!!
Where are all the people who say he doesn't belong now? Keep it up bud 💪!!
Very proud of you Tanner. How has this new ride changed your family operation. Your Dad sure gets a break and it is great that Carly is working with Bobbys crew. Keep up the great content and enjoy this special time in your life!!!
Good job Tanner! Great education you’re getting with WoO.
Doing great man just remember when you run with those guys to figure out how they drive and then you know what to do💯🔥 gravel went by pretty quick I was surprised
Great run, Tanner! Carly's tire magic helped, too! WillyB
Awesome Job. Tanner.
You are learning things pretty well.Keep at it and enjoy the ride.😊
You got to get the jump on starts and restarts ! Got to be really aggressive on starts. Love to see you race!
Great job Tanner and team/crew!! You've came a long ways through the years!. I pray it all continues to move forward for you and one day we can see you winning or a team to watch out for winning and known for winning!! Blessings to the whole family and all your team and crew's families!!..
Love everything about this track. A true test for drivers and crew chiefs.
What I like about Sharon Speedway is that it used to be a half-mile dirt oval. You can still see the old half-mile track outside of the track. Which is from turn 2 to turn 4. Way more prominently from the backstretch to turn 4.
Very cool touch by the previous promotors to keep that lineage!
Outlaw sprints used to run 17.5, 17.8 seconds at that track when it was 1/2 mile. Man they really flew. Just up under 100mph on entry. We lived up on the hill a few miles from there and even when we didn't go we listened to the races. ❤
Great job Tanner keep up the good work Buddy. Thank you for the great coverage and appreciate all your hard work you put into your videos
Indeed, how he's maintaining these quality videos is amazing to me.
Great drive what a slick place .
Tanner, So good to have you back in Ohio. I live closset to Wayne County Speedway, but have also been to Sharon, Attica and Lernerville several times. You are on my busket let to meet you personally perhaps next season upon your return to Ohio with the WOL. It has been my pleasure watching you grow in this sport. ✌✌
You only gotta run faster than three cars, there, Tanner, and when you do that, then you'll be There! Great run, Tanner, you're now showing that you belong among the Best of the Best. It looks like you've made the breakthrough and now deserve to run with The World of Outlaws. God Bless and stay safe and don't lose Carly as your tire and engine changer.💯🔥👍🏁
You are doing great young man!! My question is. When will you at least tease us on what your future may hold next season with the World of Outlaws??
Great feature. I actually think you were faster than Gio at the end if you could have gotten around him. Your turn again for the right cards. Keep it up.
Great job Tanner I thought you did very good. God has blessed you with a good night. Congrtulations❤
Sure be cool for them to give you a full season next year. So cool that your sister is right there in the mix.
Awesome Tanner. Top 5 is really a victory man, tough track, slick with grip, cool tracks back east, great exposure and effort.
Bobby has got to be pleased. Celebrate, then reload and keep the roll going. Try to be more aggressive with smarts, you are racing the best in the world at what you do. Great stuff, great job, great team, and you are the people's champ, you and the Rock.
Keep Rocking and Racing.
So cool. Welcome home to the Outlaws. First time I ever raced it had to race with Bobby Allen , Steve kinser, Sammy , Diugh Wolf Gang. There were no enclosed trailers then. Dam I am old. Roflao. And yes Boblbie lapped me at i-70 speedway. That would have been the early 80 s. Stay safe and stay God Speed.
Awesome ,you finished in the top five. Do it again next race& the next.
Dude you ran awesome I mean hell let’s face it it’s the world of outlaws don’t be unrealistically with your expectations lol
Great job
Tanner, let me take you back to your heat race. Your throttle action was slow. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Awesome. Run
Damn didn't know you were in Ohio? I live in Toledo. I want to at least see you in person one day. Love your racing style and perseverance.
I enjoyed that race you were in it the whole time congrats
Stay focused on those top fives. Your fans that have been watching you for a while are super proud of you. I’m guessing you’ll have a full season in the seat next year. Has your team owner talked about the future? 👍
Just a little faster start and third. Great race.
I watched Ya all night. I thought you did extremely well. Remember both Dave & Dale Blaney get unlimited practice here. Shatz & Sweet both have Feature wins here, and Gravel from what I seen on this night was WICKED fast! Also, this is Red Clay and temps. dropped to 39 this night. You did Awesome Tanner 👍
Kiddo, great job. 👍👍
I wondered if this night was going to be a good one because I know how you like slick tracks. I'm thinking that running top 5 on a slick track in your first Half or so season with the Outlaws good going Tanner. Thank you for sharing this video with us Tanner. Have a good one. Have fun take care
Awesome race. If there were a couple more laps, you were reeling them in! But great drive!
Talked to you when you walked off the track after your video nice to finally get to meet you. Had the old yellow pennzoil racing hat .
Good job tanner.. keep your head up.. your doing awesome
Tanner, you were reeling them back in after Had went around you and the you start climbing back. Seem him stay up top and you went back to the bottom, top on the straight and back to the bottom on the corners really jettisoned you forward. Starting 3 and ending up 4th was a certain accomplishment for sure.
Gravel jumped that start
I was wondering if you had considered trying a S bend drag link? I think it would be a good thing for both you and Carly. Seems like with how you guys came up in carts it might complement your driving styles to have a little more left when you’re catfishn’ ??
Good luck in pa the next week or two. Your young and learning. Keep your head up.
I'll be seeing you next week at the Speed Palace. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
Oh yea tanner keep it up
Great drive in the feature. It's the world's fastest traffic jam on ice.
A very sharp uniforn tanner good luck the rest of the year
NICE RACE
Great effort there Tanner
Git' 'em Tanner Go! Go! Go!
Great run Tanner, elbows up and hammer down.
Not sure I agree Tanner on your turns 1 & 2 comment, seems and sounded to me a lot of T1&2 spent idling round the corner when several times a slide and gas down to pass traffic instead of waiting for the straight may have helped..have rewatched again and have same conclusion...apart from that I look foward to each video and am impressed with the learning journey, although I also miss the cart battles between you and Carly
Hey tanner i just got home from the weekend at williams grove i m glad i got to see you race but i m sorry i didn t make it to the pits to meet you i have a few health problems prohibiting that hopefully. Maybe next yeat you are still on tour and you go to sharon or lernerville i can meet you.keep doing what you are doing and before you know you ll be climbing on top of the wing and waving the checkered flag good luck buddy
Good job 🎉
Great job Tanner
OMG! You have 2 more top 5s than Brock Zearfoss has running all season.
You need to remind him of that every chance you get.
I used to watch Old Man Lou Blaney swish around that track when it was 1/2 mile. They ran 17 second laps there when it was 1/2 mile. 410 sprints that is. 18 seconds was middy. Great run kid. Top 5 in World of Outlaws is respectable.
Great run top 5 can't complain about that
Yo saw you at the grove don't worry that track is very hard to race at so you'll probably do better at the next race
You're right where you are supposed to be. Seat time buddy. Great run. You will start to put together longer stretchs of top 5's. 🙂👍
Great job Everyone!!
Hey tanner do you think that you will go full time with the world of outlaws sprint car series next year
I honestly feel you winning very soon!
Good job
Looks like someone jumped the start of the dash.
Tanner I am just curious that when the time comes will you sign with Nascar cause I really loved watching you on Eldora and I think you are an amazing driver.
Seemed like gravel almost jumped the start. He timed it perfectly, but I think it could have gotten called
Bobby used to shred them using the bottom when others couldn't.
Nice work. Softer suspension for more traction?
That was a great run Tanner and Crew! What kind of brake are people using? It looks like steel on steel with all the sparks coming off the rotors/pads?
Still young buddy just keep on doing what your doing Buddy.
should have done lernerville
Aye I jus watched the whole video and I jus wanna say you are doing great I mean u fell down jus a little jus keep doing great your gonna great a win very soon
Wow
I looked at the WOO points stats. Do you realize your Finishing place percentage is ahead of Jason's. At 14 races in for both of you, you are ahead of Day in points, who is considered one of the great young talents out there. You're in a position to finish ahead of half the WOO regulars. Keep digging and don't have to get a bigger helmet size. Well you got your dream, and you found you are competitive, now the big question! Do you really want to be part of the carny that is the WOO tour, or have just as much satisfaction racing with your family and enjoying the benefits of a more normal life. Either way take time to enjoy the blessing.
I think Gravel road blocking the 1st turn handicapped the rest of the race.
good jod
Tanner your getting better but I think your lifting to much even though the track is slick your loosing it in turns 3and4 keep on working it Tanner and yes your on a knew adventure. Good Luck
Gravel jumped that dash start so bad.
5:40 "It's *literally* an ice skating rink."
*No it isn't.* It's literally a speedway. The ice skating rink, is a metaphor.
Surprised you aren’t correcting him on the “literally could throw a blanket on them” either. Literally can mean figurative now, language evolves.
@@H3110NU "Literally", literally means the OPPOSITE of figurative. Language does evolve, but we should all hope that it evolves in a positive useful way. To what benefit of language, is the evolution of the word 'literally' now becoming a direct synonym of its actual antonym? I'm also curious to know what word you'd propose as a candidate for the definition that the word 'literally' LITERALLY used to mean?
Also, note that speaking figuratively doesn't usually require a qualifier. You can say "it's an ice skating rink out there", and most people will know that you're speaking figuratively. You're making an analogy. If you said "it's *like* skating on ice" it would be a simile. The qualifier "literally" becomes helpful, when there's some chance that what the speaker says, might be taken as figurative.
What's annoying, is not the ordinary helpful and constructive evolution of language, but the debauching of language, by means such as suddenly starting to use words as if they mean the exact OPPOSITE of their nominally excepted definition. So *NO!* Literally *DOES NOT* mean "figurative" goddamn it. It never has and as far as I'm concerned, NEVER WILL.
Red dirt tracks, only thing you can do is put the sidewall against the wall for grip! Lol.
See you at devil's bowl😀
BLOODY GRAVEL WENT EARLY, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT BACK A COUPLE OF SPOTS AT THE END OF THE RACE.
That place looks slicker than greased 🦉💩
Tanner, when are YOU going to thank the guy that made all this possible for you? Anthony Macri.
It was Anthony Macri who planted the seed in Jacob Allen's head: *_If Anthony Macri can quit his dad, then I can too._*
👍🏻
YOOOOO
first one baby
Nope
2nd
Is everyone equal in power
No!
Sounded like en extreme amount of wheel spin down the straight away, probly hard not to put it to the floor when all you want to do is catch first place, I’ve heard them say sometimes slower is faster. Anyways you’re doin great dude keep it up!!!
Looks like a boring race, very little grip and no real runs. Basically manage 30 laps and don’t make any mistakes.
Sharon is definitely like ice,I ran 3 super late model races,We struggled with grip, But my tech man made a spoiler change and it was golden,I won 2 heats there and a feature
