With Jojo, I don't think anyone wants anything to do with her or her music. She "just" needs to focus on leveling up her vocals and drop a #1 song and this will pass.

I think the biggest issue with the “stealing songs” is that fact that in damn near every interview Jojo talks about how she did infact write these songs herself, or how “oh this like is about one of my exes and it means alot to me” or “oh this one took me 2 weeks to write” only for her to be like “ok so yeah the song is from 2012 I don’t write any of my stuff”

tbh several artists in the music industry do this. they all go on abt how they were sitting on the bathroom floor and were suddenly struck with these intimate, heart-warming lyrics - and then come to find out, the entire thing was written and produced by Max Martin, and the song was likely turned down by multiple artists beforehand. So yeah it's dishonest on jojo's part, but that kind of lie is essentially by the book, industry standard atp.
