UA-cam! I thought the song's inspiration was the 1982 Falklands War. Some of the video seems to reference the 1st World War. Other parts of the video: maybe suggest others. The lyrics, are maybe, about the senseless aspects of war and a romantic vision of what goes through a soldiers mind during the moments of their death in battle.
