From what I have seen of the man, he doesn't seem like he'd do anything like that, but then again... you can't judge a book by its cover.
you go through life thinking music is great, but when you hear a song like this it really puts it all in perspective... If everybody on earth had the ability to sing this song, i doubt many would actually come close to "really" singing it, truely a remarkable artist.

while i absolutely love straylight run...at least there death wasn't in vain...we now get solo John Nolan and Destry...so we sacrificed one to get two great groups...

Do they make music like this anymore? I mean really? Seemed like this was the last peak of "rock" music. Now all you hear on the radio is either popular metal or old Grunge throwbacks that are played on loop at least once every hour. Or the new stuff which is far more poppy/alternative, and I just can't get into personally.
