Dave, these are the finest condition ‘68’s I have ever seen!! I was 7 at the time and lived across the street from a Mattel plant in South Plainfield, New Jersey. They used to send my parents invitations for us kids to come over and test out new toy ideas and the reward was always a hot wheel item, usually a pop-up vinyl track accessory that included a shiny new hot wheel car - enchanting times I still remember so vividly (thx also to you) 54 years later. 😍😍
Oh man your childhood rocks! I lived in a small town of 990 people and the only stores were the drug store and Western Auto Hardware. There was maybe 5 Hot Wheels in one of the stores. My childhood was mostly bicycles. Not sure how but one of my neighbors had many hot wheels and I think that somehow sank into my brain that someday I would have many hot wheels!
Run ads wherever you can to find Hot Wheels. Be prepared to pay a fair price. You can't keep them all so you have to share with other collectors who will gladly buy some of what you find. Rinse and Repeat. I've been a ToyCarCollector over over 35 years and have done it full time since 1995. You would not believe all I have seen, and I'm no where near the top of the heap in the collecting world.
Nice cars, can't believe what I'm looking at! Feeling my self asking GOD if I could find a stack of 3 or a 1000 cars for cheap at a garage sale, (like for a hundred bucks 🙏🏁❤ love hotwheels so much, but to much $ for those cars for sure. Just watching not buying. Thanks for sharing, love your channel Dave W.

Must be nice to be able to afford them. I'm 51 and trying to find these.
